I am working on some paper work and when I translate the following phrases it makes no sense to me. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sie wurden anfangs berits gefragt, ob Sie Eltern kennen, die ihr Kind zur Adoption gegeben haben.

Was möchten Sie über die leiblichen Eltern oder die Herkunftsfamilie erfahren?

Welche Vorstellungen haben Sire zur Lebenssituation von leiblichen Eltern (z.B während der Schwangerschaft, Zeit bis und nach der Vermittlung des kindes)?

You have already been asked if you know parents who have given up their child for adoption.

What would you like to know about the biological parents or family?

How do you imagine the biological parents life is (for example, their situation during the pregnancy, the time before and after the "assignment" of the child).
