So, when last has it been said? The C-word?

I thought of you this morning.

I thought of you yesterday when I by chance discovered Scog's bench while running. Greeted him from you.

Thank you! I like passing it in all weathers, especially when the rising sun hits the plaque and it winks at me across the bridle field and the creek. But it also has its charm when we gather there with brandy-laced hot chocolate because it's just too damn cold for early September (like this time last year).

I came across that bench a few weeks ago when it was still summer...I figured it had to be TT related...it's quite a lovely idea really

What lovely weather we are having at the moment, hope it stays like this the whole of October. Will give us energy to survive November and December.

They say the 2nd half of October shall be quite mild-to-warm with another high-pressure system moving in...happy days!

Perfect....perfect for getting my garden in shape and raking the leaves. There is nothing worse than raking wet leaves.

That's the trouble with long range forecasts, they are almost always wrong.

I see a distinct possibility that it will snow in Munich in the coming week, probably around Thursday/Friday but maybe even on Wednesday. It will almost certainly snow on the outskirts at places like Holzkirchen. Whether it will be enough to stick on the warm ground is another question though. Still, it would be great if we swap now to winter without too much of an ugly Autumn (5 to 10 degrees and rain). Up until now the weather has been excellent since about mid-July.

I spent the whole of last week sitting out having breakfast in the heart of the old town, blissfully watching the world go by. 30 odd years living in Ireland, I have managed to do that once. Happy days!

Snow forecast this week; I wasn't expecting that in Oct

Nope snow can happen any time from now on. it won't stuck though.
