NFL season opens on Sunday!
My issue is I want to watch the Patriots, and want to know if it will be consistantly possible.
I know
the ARC shows games, but how do I know what game they will have on? Do they have a schedule, or do they just wing it?
NFL games are carried by SKY and NASN, is that right? Is it just a couple select games each week? Or can I subscribe to some type of cable or satellite provider and get the Pats games every week?
I can't believe there is no way to watch it online! NFL needs to follow what MLB has done. I think it's $15 a month and I can watch any MLB game online. The NFL wants $10 a month for just radio over the net!
Has anyone had any experience with Slingbox?

We advertise the games we're showing
here every week. Often games are not confirmed by TV stations until the middle of the week, but if you check on Thursday or Friday, it should always be updated.
As we show between 4 and 6 games live every week, there's a pretty good chance you'll get to see the Patriots play several times this year. Not this Sunday though...
Here's a discussion thread on
sling box. The Bavaria Satellite guys will probably pop up here and can advise whether or not you can specifically get the Pats games via their dishes.

I know its not NFL, but Hazza - any chance the NCAA game between Ohio State(1) and Texas(2) is available on your satellite? Would be around 2am Sunday morning ...

In my experience, it's not easy to watch the game that you want to watch. Premiere, for example, only shows selected games (as does Sky, I believe).
I want to watch my beloved Eagles. However, since they shit the bed last year, it's unlikely that I'll be able to see them live.

I want to watch the Eagles this Sunday also. Please let me know if you discover a way to do it. Thanks!

Premiere show nothing.
They don't have the rights to the games this season. NASN Europe (available through Kabel Deutschland) have the rights to games in Germany

Premiere sucks. I bought into it 2 years ago, mainly to watch NHL, but then the players went on strike and there was no season, but at least they carried a few live games of the NFL every week, except for the superbowl, which they neglected to advertise to anyone. Now this year they have no NFL at all. Im so disappointed. I feel like i should toss this useless reciever in the toilet.

Both Patriots and Eagles on at
The Arc this Sunday.
Full list of games here:
7pm Miami v Buffalo AND NY Giants v Philadelphia AND New Orleans v Green Bay.
10pm New York Jets v New England AND Kansas City v Denver AND Arizona v Seattle
Here is the link you need to look at to see what we're showing every week. Games are normally updated by mid-week for that weekend

You can get various satellite or cable TV options for the same price or less...
For under $100 a month, you can get a pretty good Sky package (without installation costs though)

There's another on-line option if you miss a game or if no pub is showing it:
It's a P2P site called Ten Yard Torrents. Not sure what the address is, but if you do a google search it comes right up.
But just a warning: NFL games are copywrited, so downloading them is not legal.
