@bubblylady - the original plan was nedkelly's, and that was for a good reason.

What's there to like about about Kilians, bad service and much to loud music when a band is playing. Was there last friday, and we simply moved to nedkelly's because the band was so annoying.

Does it say which bus we need to take from Alte Heide?

Surely you could walk that? It can't be more than 5mins from Alte Heide Ubahn judging by VDB's map?

Oke, then also the bus connections:

U6 to Alte Heide - Shuttlebus brings you every 20 min. direct to the door

U3 to Olympiazentrum and then Bus 43 in the direction of Studentenstadt

U3 to Studentenstadt and then Bus 43 in the direction of Olympiazentrum

U6 to Münchner Freiheit and then Bus 123 in the direction of Alfred-Arndt-Straße

EDIT - I think a couple of us should try this as a bet one day

And if we start the evening in Gunther Murphy's the best option might be to take bus 123, since it's a direct connection.

It's not a five minute walk from the u-bahn station, I've been there. It's much better and quicker with the bus.

OK, its 5.53, its an ungodly hour to have been out all night. I have no strength to do anything!! I just want to sleep...

But to recap, the first club we went to, Ecececellelstin or something like that...we were too sporty(They must have missed my stomach at some point!!), so denied there and to top it off I took a picture of the Geek they called a doorman whilst giving him the finger! and then went back not 10 minutes later and the blind bastard let me in dickheads

Went to the 2nd club and at least this time they had a valid reason for not letting us in...it was LESBIAN night FFS I have never been turned away from 2 clubs in one night in my life.

So we ended up in the middle place, again I dont know the name, lots of dancing, pictures and laughter later, I am home finally, I want my bed...I may not wake up´...I will see you guys for drinks with Roger later!!

Classic night out! Sorry about the whole ballhaus think. But at least we know never to go back there!
The club we went to was the famed Alabamahalle! I think we pretty much made the club. Good to see so many people out. Thanks to DW for getting us in half price.
Shame it was my last cheesy night out here - although the U6 Party will probably be cheesy!

It was a good night out! Like BigC said, it was a little weird getting in to places. In one place, what was is, some people were dressed too sporty?? And the one at the other end was for gay and lesbians only??

The way back was quite amusing as well. While waiting for the bus, some random car stopped and asked if we wanted a ride. So we got back into town without having to spend money on a taxi (we had to cope with the Albanian music though)...

Oh my God, Alabamahalle on Friday is a big NoNo.
How could I get convinced to go there at 2am?
But it is fantastic to see that Toytowners are having the greatest time even in the crappiest "club" in Munich.
