I personally hope it was not a suicide attempt atall, and they are just covering up what really happened - a good kicking. Taxpayers money wasted on feeding this SOAB, makes me sick, grumble, rant, moan.

agree with DR, he'd be doing the world a favour if he topped himself but he should only be allowed to kill himself if it involves lots of pain and suffering (ie the good kicking DR mentions) certainly no easy quick way out via paracetamol overdose.

Bring back crucifiction I say. Make it a family day out, PPV televised event, hot dog stalls, beer tent, raffle, tombola. Could make a fair few bob I reckon. Nobody thinks creatively these days. Blair's Britain eh.

I can just see it now - the millenium dome could become "The Dome of Death". Great transport links, and a huge pool of heinous criminals right on its doorstep. Dale Winton playing host too - fantastic.

Why not. With all the reality and chat shows, suffering in public has already become a spectator sport just as in Ancient Rome. Next logical step is to have prison boxing matches televised... (this idea copyrighted to me).

No, no, no. A vigilante squad would find him and kill him far too quickly. Hardly anybody is an expert in prolonged torture these days. Needs to be done by some professionals. In fact, Saddam Hussain no longer has a job.
