Funny isn't it that this is a "Döner" meat scandal, how the popular press spun it as a story about "Ausländers".
Turns out it was "traditional" Weiß-Blaue places lire the Donisl that were <cough> "tricked" into buying this bad meat.
Bet the press weren't as happy having to print that dirty little secret.

The Süddeutsche made no bones about it at all, spoke right out. As for the other press in Munich ...

Well, it should be a well-known fact that shit papers like Bild are conservative and hate all kinds of people, foreigners and Klinsi being some of them...

The saga continues: As the cooling system in Bruner's warehouses was not maintenanced one of the cooling elements went bust. Now the meat has thawed and is really gammling. Bruner's estate is heavily indebted, his heirs refuse to pay for the removal and destruction of the meat (we're still talking about 20 tons here). So the city of Munich has to shell out €400,000 to take the rotting meat to wherever rotting meat goes when you can't sell it any more (presumably the heating plant). The merchandise cannot remain in the warehouses as the eletricity is due to be shut off this week.
Of course, the city will try to secure its claim by taking up a mortgage on Bruner's real estate.

The Bild is reporting a pretty hefty meat scandal. Some 10 tons of up to 4 year old meat in cold-storage has been distributed far and wide, particularly to kebab stands. Reports are when de-thawed, it's pretty rancid. Now might be a good time to stick to veggie restaurants.
See story here:
Gammelfleisch-SkandalHave any of you taken the time to have a look into the kitchens of any of these restaurants where you have your so called 'meet-ups'??? Think Toytown people!!!

And where do you eat and buy your food? Maybe you can give us some good advice, even though "Europe" is rather large as a location.

You're absolutely right you know. They're not real meet-ups at all. In fact, the truth be told they don't actually happen at all. Toytown is actually just a couple of blokes with way too much time on their hands pretending to be an entire community. It's all faked.
