HK is not the centre of the Universe but then again.

Its got a few nice bars to get a bit piddled in, round the town centre.

At least two TTers live here.

I could possibly go to this. But only if it's on a Thursday at 2:00 in the afternoon. Otherwise I won't be able to attend.

Anyone from Taufkirchen, Deiusenhofen or Unterhaching want to come down? I shall pick a nice restaurant of which there are severa, to go to. Couple of good pizza places here, or Bavarian places in the countryside which are beautiful.

Sounds possible - went through HK yesterday en route to the See - seemed a nice place - depending when and where - I might make a plan but understand the S Bahn only goes ever 40 mins in the eve - is that right? Would like to chat to people who live there and find out what its like etc...

Genau CBB. Sorry was going to ring you but I seem to get onto this PC about 20 minutes a day at the moment as there are always nappies or milk to be administered or the most likely is daughter always trying to sit on my knee!

Stargazer yes, but not great. Takes hours to set up my telescope and even then when it is correctly aligned you point it at some galaxy and just end up with a bit of black sky. Not quite the Hubble Space Telescope...,
