A consortium led by Lockheed Martin will build the next spaceship to take humans to the Moon.
Nasa has awarded a multi-billion-dollar contract to the group to develop the Orion vehicle, which will replace the space shuttle when it retires in 2010.

And the capsule even looks like the the old ones. How nostalgic. I bet it even has big chrome bumpers, manual wind down windows and "retro" rockets.
I'm sure they'll sing that song again "I was walking on the moon one day..." They're going to sing it. I know!
These days we expect black holes, death stars, gamma quadrants and other species. The TV watching public of today have travelled far beyond the aspirations of the sixties. I mean, the moon is still in black and white for goodness sake!
Can't they go into deep space and meet beautiful alien women (who happen to speak English)? It would get much better viewing figures!
