Hey guys, stumbled across this thread and thought I'd join in...? I'm right near Karlsplatz/Marienplatz and will likely get caught up in the pope fiasco... I guess I'll have to catch a train farther up--anyone else coming from around this area?

Incidentally Jeeves, there is a linientaxi which you can take for free if you book it 30 mins in advance on 089/900 68 78-0. It's the 230 route, and leaves at every half past the hour. Otherwise it's not too long a walk, maybe 30 minutes.

Thanks to everyone who made it out - I had a really great day, and I really appreciate that everyone made the effort to get out there. Hopefully one or two more opportunities to see people before I'm finally off, but yesterday was fantastic. Cheers!

well my drunk ass made it home last night but sadly my camera did not. Please tell me someone picked up a camera...and if not then can someone who lives nearby go round and ask them if they found one.
