Renaissance Fair at Schloss Dracula

Looks like there's going to be a Renaissance Faire at Schloss Dracula this weekend (Sept 1 - 3, 2006). Admission is 7 or 12 Euros depending on when you want to go.

No Idea - never been. I suppose I'll find out this weekend.

I've only seen a handful of posters here (I'm between Berlin/Potsdam) about a month ago. More to the point, I was wanting to go to this so I could decide if I wanted to go to the Halloween "festivities" that will be hosted there the weekend of Hallween. (I admit, I think it'd be awesome to say that I once spent halloween at Dracula's place and have the pics to prove it! )

Hi all!

Yes, I went this weekend. No I didn't find it overly touristy.

Actually, since you had to take a taxi (or walk 3km) to get to the schloss, it was pretty crazy - and very small. (The bus only ran every 4 hours.)

For small number of people, however, I will note that there were lots of good performances, great vendors, and unlike many "touristy" fairs, you could SEE what was going on. This is an added bonus.
