Just thought I would check if there are any other TTers who managed to sort tickets out for the gig tonight. Jimbo, myself and Big C will be there...any others? Pootle, did you manage to get a ticket?

He's 71 now, or thereabouts. I'll bet you all come back disappointed.

Well for 71 he wasn't bad. He danced and sang and the band were great.
But...
no bloody encore! No on! He got rightfully booed for that one!

Still, glad I went and saw him live!

I saw Foxy on telly this morning. Really. I might have been fast asleep but Foxy was clearly visible standing at the exit behind a German bloke being interviewed by ZDF for their "Szene" part of "Morgenmagazin".

I think my expectations were too high - great show, but Mr. James Brown didn't play a big part in it - and near the end vanished off the stage, we assumed to prepare for an encore, but in fact it was just to let his band take the plaudits, and as Big C said - no encore.

As for Foxy on the TV, are you sure? There was a camera outside, but C and I would have been right with her... (presumably the interview was after the show?)

Interview was after the show and I am positive it was Foxy speaking to someone whose face I couldn't see as the guy talking to camera was stood in front.
