GBV Night Out - it's back

Hey its been a while, and we thought its time for another GBV night out.

This time its a bit different, no planned food - just saying meet at Die Bank from around 8pm on Wednesday night.

If people want to meet for food, then lets talk here. But I dont have the time to make a formal booking - it also depends on the weather. If its good, I fancy schnitzel at Krablergarten - bad weather - maybe some pasta at Sax.

i love die bank and it's a 2 minute walk from my new apartment (whoohoo)... i'll pop over for a drink around 9!

I like Die Bank and could do with a midweek meetup, but have a potential prior -- I'll confirm intent 2morrow.

Bah! We'll have none of that Swedish* nonsense. Just to clarify, the plan is to meet up at Die Bank at 8:00 and then things will proceed organically from there, correct? That being the case, the numbered sign-ups are not necessarily required. Just checking.

Afaik, the numbered sign ups are a thing from when we have a fixed booking to make for dinner before hand which isn't the case tomorrow. I think it's just a local tradition for localpeople. in which case:

GBH sorry GBV locals, what do you think of the Kzar bar? I know we are off to Die Bank (and I love the lightbox installation at the moment), so it is a general question really.

I preferred it back around 1992 when it was the ace lesbian dico bar "Florida" but then again I get around.

I'll give the the benefit of the doubt and say they have been around for a while but it is very "New Glockenbach".
A tiny sprinkling of heemas but MUCH less than Selig. Mostly 20-30 somethings wanting to look cool.
Cocktails and pils for €3 though its some tiny village brewery in Oberfickenhausen or somewhere so overpriced really.

Location location location. It's very central and great for people watching in the summer. BUT, the covered terrace isn't really suitable for groups.
If the weather is crap it gets JAMMERS inside. Cute-ish bouncer lets just about everyone in unless you are an old skool GBH GBV Jakey in his 50s.

Use of the word chicks and that attitude are more likely to stand in the way of your dating strategy than the location.
Seriously though, there are many single heterosexuals who live, work or party in GBV, it's a pretty hip location right now.

GBV isnt all puffs and lesbians, some great bars and resturants. Its also a very desirable area to live - great schools, social nightlife etc. Talk to any estate agent and they'll tell you GBV prices are rocketing at the moment, as its one of the nicer areas that will not be affected by the new sbahn tunnel building work. Tell that to the posh poeple in bogenhausen
