The thai place next door will deliver food to the bank and its fine to eat it there. but you cant get a good kebab near there!

The kebab situation in GBV is dire!

Only thing really after a night on the beer is to nip in the Fraunhoferstrasse U-Bahn for a hot sausage.

I've had one before from that kebab shop on Thalkirchenerstr opposite the pervy S&M shop - tasted alright to me.

WAY too expensive. They had what they call a "sale" on recently but one can still get the stuff elsewhere cheaper.

I was walking along that street once on my way to a concert and a handsome chap in a beautful black full-length leather mac walked past me.
He looked over his shoulder and winked at me and then disappeared into a shop.
It was that shop.
I was confused/bemused all evening after that.

Well they are kind of both opposite the kebab shop.

Popped into the Bank last night as I forgot my rucksack...

Had a great chat with the barman, who said we were a a great crowd - who drank him out of Helles??? And next time we go we should maybe warn him.

Even Keydeck said he enjoyed the place.

Werkstatt is nice - but it gets very very very busy in there UA. A GBV night ended up there in the olden days. Not a bad selection of wines either.

Self-interested request: a NNO when Bohne & Malz finally opens on Rotkreuzplatz as the bank conversion is looking pretty nicely done so far.

Had a fab time. Think I wasted my time though in trying to persuade Lurker Mark to get a haircut!!
