I have finished my Master's thesis.. so unofficially... I'm a Master's degree holder!!

haahaaaa...I am just bursting with laughter here in the office, have just been taught the meaning of a phrase, and boy was I using it wrong

I am happy because I will be on a plane back to Munich this evening! I can't wait to see Popel (my doggie) !
Oh, and my boyfriend, too.

I am happy because the sun shining on my face this morning on the way to the S-Bahn had a hint of warmth although there was frost on the ground.

Because although I still sound like a talking frog I can actually swallow now without it feeling like I'm swallowing razor blades!

because I finally have internet at home in the flat after a 3 month absence!

I am happy that I sat the Test DaF exam today so now I can go to sleep without feeling guilty that I should be up preparing (never mind that the oral part of this test was a killer so I might have to resit).

And that coincides with Valentine's Day. It's Telekom's VD present for you.

The sun was shining today and I saw a beautiful sunset!!

Wahay. Got some sleeping tablet from the docs this morning as haven't slept the last couple of nights because of my throat. And I'm feeling all fuzzy inside

EDIT. these really are good stuff...need to scarper to bed before I fall asleep on my keyboard.

I could use one of those, I spent the past 1.5 hrs trying to fall asleep and now I have given up for the moment.
I have to get up in 6 hours for work.

Anything that could make me sleep more than 4 a day would be good, they should hand them out at bank entrances tbh

i am happy because my best friend is coming to stay with me for 4 days :-)
the sun is out and this weekend is going to be GREAT.

I have 5 days off, just had a 2.5 hour work out, sauna, massage and now home for lunch, then off for a pedicure... think I need to go out dancing tonight.

I am happy because hopefully when I get home tonight I will have my new contract waiting for me in my mailbox and I can spend the week end writing a beautiful resignation letter and on Monday say goodbye to all my lovely colleagues

@Carm: thats sounds like a great way to spend the day maybe I'll do the same to celebrate the news!

There's a chance Max is in town so a bunch of us might (hopefully) go out drinking (hopefully get drunk and who knows what!)

It's a pretty day, I hope to go home early-ish, and I'm enjoying the Johnny Norfolk thread that has disintegrated into something I really can't comprehend, but is nonetheless entertaining.

I am happy because Haggis Junior brought home some very surprising grades in Physics and German and should not have a problem being accepted at Junior College. And I am happy because she liked the atmosphere of said Junior College at the Open House on Tuesday.

I watched a new episode of Grey's Anatomy, and while I did bawl throughout most of it, and am very shocked at what happened, I do love this show... always a thing I look forward to on Fridays.

And the sun was shining again!

Now I am happy because I cleaned my entry, guest toilet, shoe closet, kitchen and master bathroom and only have three flights of wooden stairs to mop because I swept them this morning.

I am happy because i sent my husband out for drinks tonight and i am talking via webcam and mic to my family in canada..a little me time!

I was out with some wonderful people tonight, as a surprise birthday party for a friend... and she was truely surprised. I feel great to be part of such a wonderful group of people.

Because I got upgraded at the hotel where I am staying to a suite bigger than my flat :-)

Cos my son just arrived in the Fatherland so i get to spend some time with him this week.

Its just past 6pm, not entirely dark & the birds (winged sort) are singing in the garden...

Because one of my coworkers brought pancakes today...and I just had one smeared with Nutella...mmmmmmmmm

I finally got a CD and DVD in the mail that I had ordered the other week. I am still waiting or 2 DVDs if the same order, and funny how a CD from the US took just as long (actually shorter, the CD was shipped two days later) as the DVD from the UK (and the two others haven't even arrived). I hope the renaining two will get here tomorrow.

I'm happy as it's just one more sleep till I see my wife for the first time in over a month!!

So she has forgiven you and is willing to come back and give you another chance?

I am happy that I did not fly on Jet Blue today as originally planned. Jet Blue still has not gone back to a normal schedule after the mess last week. There was even a case where passengers sat on the runway for 9 hours and then turned back to the terminal. Am I glad that I didn't fall to family pressures to buy the ticket!

I'm now even happier as it's no sleeps till I see the wife!!

@sarabyrd - it's not about forgiveness, just the fact she had visiting rights removed for attacking a guard over Xmas!!!

well, after taking some great drugs for my headache, my headache is gone, and I am all packed and ready to go for a nice weekend away in Finnland.
