Because I've just led an aerobics class.
As it is a new membership year, there's quite a few new starters in my Sportsverein low-impact class, so our trainer wanted to check their steps and asked me to take over the rest of the class.
This makes me well chuffed because I've gone from being the worst person in the class to leading it, quite proud of that really

because I've nearly finished writing a big presentation that I need for Thursday... ususally I'd finish it on the Wednesday night!

[geek mode]I just got an email that one of my freelance colleagues wants to publish a translated version of a presentation I gave November 2005 at a geeky conference. I'm thrilled and very flattered! [/geek mode]

My daughter just came back from her first day's skiing and she was happy and rosy cheeked. Not a word of complaint (so far)!

I figured out why a document kept making random page breaks without calling our Document Specialists at 7am their time. I might have to vent, however, that it took me 20 minutes longer than it should have because I overlooked a tab in the menu.
*tab - menu - I feel homesick for my Granny now, she used to give us Tab to drink. Nasty sticky-sweet stuff I would think it now.

TAB is disgusting! One of my close neighbors drinks it still and loves it- yuck! (my parents keep some on hand for when she's here and evertime i'm in the basement and see the stuff I wretch)

NO! Tab was fab.

Anyways, I'm happy today because I bought myself the most splendid bottle of Chanel... it smells like heaven on earth.

i did well on the PRAXIS I (standardized test you take to start teacher certification). Honestly, the test is a major joke.

I am happy because I will be listening to Dvorzak's New World Symphony on the S-Bahn this morning.

I am moved in now. I can't express how wonderful it is to live right on Place St. Michel! The Sorbonne is right around the corner, shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, lots of students. In my kitchen, with the window open, I can hear the water rushing in the Fountain St. Michel. And the flat is furnished, including about 300 books, in English! They belonged to an older French, Harvard graduate who, although a bit insane, had great taste in literature. Heaven!

oh, and my next door neighbor is the retired ex-Chief of Security at the Louvre. Sounds too good to be true? Just ask Madaxemurder

I am happy because I will be in Barcelona for three days next week. It is supposed to 60°f and sunny on the day I arrive!

I've just been accepted for a fantastic position and my salary request was met! Thank you to a wonderful woman.

I am happy because I just got back from the American regulars table at work and I could sit with people my age and talk about work and we all understood what each were talking about (we're all in communications!). it's not TT, but it was a great lunch.

I am happy because one of my co-workers that has been cheating the company just got fired. He always claimed to be working from home but then I could never reach him via email (because he wasn't logged into the system).
Whoopeee... and don't tell me that I shouldn't be happy. This guy was totally hosing the company out of thousands of Euros.

I'm happy coz my parents are coming over this weekend from Scotland with lots of goodies!!
