I'm happy because of many reasons, but the latest one being that I just got a delayed Christmas present from me bro and his wife in California - super friggin' high tech North Face skiing long johns and undershirt. The shit just breathes quality, can't wait to try them! My best gift this Christmas, totally, totally awesome.

for a demonstration at uni

It seems students are a lot less militant here than elsewhere - I thought you shut the place down and threw the furniture out of the windows, like they do in France.

I'm happy cos I rearranged my flat on Monday and I feel even more cosy in my own four walls smile.gif

Awesome. Just scored a non-stop direct roundtrip flight from Munich to San Francisco for 540 euros. Going skiing for a week in Squaw, and also visiting friends and family. Awesome. biggrin.gif

I'm happy because before lunch we celebrated getting a paper we'd been working on accepted. I've also made an important discovery: two glasses of Sekt on an empty stomach is enough induce a slightly tipsy sensation wacko.gif .

Yep High five brother scored a trip to Ptown for €600 in February with an open end option. Nice.

Now a dilemma. Just got a job offer to work in an office with great benefits ( including school tuition). Do I want to wear suits again and cut my hair? Man I am broke!

What made me laugh today.

I am back in the UK and went for an eye test today, he was a Dutch man so spent a lot of time discussing Germany. The least rude thing he said about them was when he asked me what was the shortest book ever written.

'The German book of Comedy'

He also did not like South Africans and the Spanish but I did not find out why.

I am sure he will fit in well in Norfolk. he loves the hills !!!

Thats right and could listen and understand other points of view that he did not agree with, unlike so many on this site who just resort to rude comments with out making any kind of contribution.

My son lost his first tooth yesterday and last night the tooth fairy visited him. The joy on his face this morning made me happy.
