Coz I just changed my flight back home...

I am happy because I saw my sis-in-law for the first time in 3 months and she has a beautiful little baby bump.

I am happy cause I am going to see a buddy of mine tomorrow midday and we will have a very nice lunch together at a fine restaurant.

I met a buddy of mine for lunch and we had a fantastic lunch and a great conversation about many things.

Fucking awesome sales today! Spent 7 hours shopping. A wool coat - 60Euro, 3 Hilfiger sweaters 45 Euro, tshirts cheap as borscht... what a great day!
Now off to the Holiday Inn to visit a girlfriend and her 5 little ones for drinks by the pool.
Also made great plans for New Years eve too!

i'm happy because i'm talking to my lovely boyfriend on the phone!!! only better thing is if he sucked it up and came out here

(i'm thrilled we chatted even though i'm being used for sending him cookies and giving him google map tours of Wisconsin )

I am happy because BMW gave me a short-term appointment in an hour to look at a tear in the rear left tire due to the sharp-cornered palette in the garage at work.

I get to take my niece and nefew tobogganning today, and its a balmy -10 out, the sun is shining and the horefrost on the trees looks so beautiful.
and a 10 am this morning, there was nobody at the shops, so i picked out some new runners,

I am happy cos I am eating fried kidneys. Mind you,my flat smells like the Gents at Charing Cross Station , there is always a down side to the nice things in life.

i am happy because i LOVE my new carpets. one is from iran and the other from india. both are colourful and homely.

hee, was out this morning to the movies, and most of the snow in the rich part of the city is cleaned up, because there was a meter snow dump in most open areas, i get to drive the truck! Now, i need to borrow one of my dad's ballcaps so I can look real redneck.

Will be working in Eugene and living somewhere around there. It is so nice to look at prices for anything up there and see just how much cheaper things are. House prices are the best comparison...

My friends know why I'm happy today (for a change to the miserable me!)

I'm happy today because after being too scared to weigh myself after 3 weeks of Christmas binge eating, I finally decided to go ahead and see exactly how much damage I'd done. And I didn't gain ANY weight. Either I'm a metabolic wonder, or I have a tape worm. Either way, HURRAH!

Because I'd thought I'd lost my card for the gym and was preparing to go grovelling on Monday, when a letter arrived today. It was from the gym, but contained my membership card along with a note from some complete random guy from Nuremberg who had found the card at the Nuremberg Christkindlsmarkt on 23rd December. Thing is, there is no address on the card, it just says Sportförderverein Universität der Bundeswehr München, so the guy must have done some research so as to return it. He addressed the letter, so i must remember to buy a thank you card tomorrow!!

I am happy because we found a chest at IKEA that fulfills the double purpose of a bench to take your shoes off in the hallway and a Mülltrenner (separate your trash container) - in the children's furniture section!

Because the nice lady at the airport, let me reorganize my bags to each weigh 50 pounds, so, I didn't have to pay excess baggage.

I am happy cause it's Friday and I am going to see some friends of mine that I haven't seen for almost three weeks. Yippeee!

BD- had 50 pounds in the rucksack- light as I can lift more, and the other bag was only 48 pounds.

I'm happy that I was able to navigate the KVR (Registration, Res/Work Permit) this morning on my own without knowing much German and not caving in to calling my German friends!
