'cos I finally got my new car today.

And because this woman continually amazes me and makes me smile, laugh, chuckle, grin, and shake my head in disbelief, and I love it.

Nice relaxing evening shooting the breeze with 2 sets of cool people, it was like two nights out; no bullshit, no games, but just sittin' relaxin' chillin'

it's 9:30pm on Saturday and I'm finding it hard to stay awake. I just got back from hanging out on a the patio at one of our preferred Mexican restaurants after tasty food and margaritas!
Earlier today we were in Madison for a trial and out of 5 runs we qualified in 4 and received 2 fourth places, 1 third, and 1 a first!!! fingers crossed for tomorrow...

Also, fireworks are going off and with the TV loud Bren doesn't realize it and is calm!

They were brilliant, it was brilliant.
Now I've lost the use of my legs, I'm sunburnt, bruised, my hair has gone all Liono, am dehydrated from sport and beers, my feet hurt from dancing in high boots to a great band, I need another massage from my charming personal physio who I hate saying goodbye to and my brain has turned to porridge.
And you know what? I couldn't be happier if I tried.
All I can manage is grinning inanely while lazing in bed surfing with the Midnight Juggernauts playing.
Roll on next weekend!!

I'm not, which is why I went to town on the kitchen which is now hardly distinguishable from what the room was last week and that sort of makes me happy, except that I now have to disassemble the bed so the workers can replace the entire window and frame on Tuesday. And then there's the computer room to be fully reorganised. And the workroom. And now I'm back to my miserable old self again. Thanks a lot.

The porterhouse I'm cooking right now might make me briefly happy again.

this weekend Brennan, my dog, ended up with (in an agility trial) 8 qualifications out of 10 and we placed 8 out of 10 with 4 firsts.

also happy because i just watched a 33year old compete in gymnastics in the Olympics!

Because I tried to talk German to the woman in the shop today, it was just funny and made both me and her giggle, especially when she was trying to give me a packet of king-size Rizzla

- found out that apparently I have dual citizenship of Germany and Italy
- got a confirmation that I will be getting my job back in Heidelberg in October
- got offered a room in university housing and I accepted it. Will not have to go apartment hunting now.

All this happened in the past 3.5 hours.

just clocked it up and i hit my target of rowing 100km on the indoor machine since tuesday evening last week. well chuffed now, why dont i just treat myself to a cigarette... :S

so happy that i'm finally relaxing with a nice glass of tipple... aahhhhh...

Cos i've spent the last 2 days with my son and my Red Cross parcel of bacon, sausage, crumpets, Dandelion & Burdock etc, etc arrived today.

i'm super duper tired, but have had a very nice (busy) past 3 days! the pre-seaon tailgating/Packer game was well worth getting home at 1am!

Because in a single moment, a weight lifting off your shoulders can feel like iced water running through your veins. It’s liberating, its refreshing and more importantly its really what you needed. (apart from another beer )

Because it was worth me staying up WAY past my bedtime to get my first-choice costume! Carnival baby!!!

Cuz I survived! I survived 2 days in Paris with my kids, my mom and my step-father (and the hotel gave me a very very good rate after upgrading me), I survived my first easy jet flight (not as bad as I'd feared) and I'm safe and sound in the bustling metropolis of Wells

I'm happy because I had a special delivery of Taco Villa burritos, for breakfast no less, all the way from Texas. It is nice to know someone loved me enough to surprise me that way today!!!

I had a wonderful weekend.... even though it was pouring rain for 38km of our 80k rafting tour on the weekend, i had a blast, slept in a wet tent- that did finally dry out, drank some great Bohemian beers on the river, and at times laughed so hard i was in tears with some really great people i have met thru my travels.
My whole body hurts, but it was so worth it!

I’m happy because there is kind of a garden here and because this cat came up to me for a cuddle
