Because after chasing down the disposal company since my old-paper bin went walkabouts last Thursday and being told by them that I have to inform City Hall who will then contact them so they can bring me a new bin in four weeks time the nice lady at City Hall said: Oh, that disposal company! Yeah, you're on the list for tomorrow's delivery, they ditched the bin along with the paper by accident.

its the weekend, my apartment is clean and smells great! Got homebaked choc chip cookies and have a wonderful day tomorrow planned.

The posts run concurrently for 24 hours, hence my posting average from last night will only diminish between 8pm and 12pm tonight.

I'm happy and somewhat puzzled because, I seen a dog eating a banana today (S'true!) Anybody else seen anything like that?

Cookie has a quarter of my banana every morning. She'll actually wake me up and stand by her food bowl to make sure I don't forget.

my dog loves some fruit and vegetables. last weekend i was using cut up fresh cherries and strawberries as training treats and they were holding his attention better than some of the meat ones.

I am jumping up and down happy because after ten years of living in sin my sister and her girlfriend got married today. Raise your glasses to the newlyweds with me, wish them happiness and a long life together on the Happy Dog Ranch in Northern California!

That must be a marvelous feeling to finally be together like that.

Because I am back home, and they let me check in my suitcase of 24.5kg without charging anything extra. Very nice of Spanair. They even showed a movie during the flight! The only sucky thing is that in 7 hours I'll already be away again until Sunday afternoon. I won't even be able to unpack most things. Boo. But I'll see my two baby cousins for the first time tomorrow. And a 3 year old one, and lots of adult ones!

I'm happy because I don't have to wake up early. I don't have to go anywhere or prove anything. It was a lovely friday night and it's just another lazy weekend in the good ol' days style. Never take those for granted.

I am happy today cause I can drink PIMMS all day at a polo tournament and talk scheise to all who want to listen !!! then I can get smashed as normally tonight !! double hit !!

Yeah, my hair isn't scary anymore. After cancelling three appts, today I finally travelled 3 hours to Frankfurt to get my hair done. Luckily, my hairdresser is a good friend of mine and understands when I have to cancel.

I'm happy today because I just finished up all of my work for the weekend and I'm off to go shopping in a couple of hours, followed by an evening at an outdoor bar, sipping Pina Coladas made by my boyfriend's boss (the owner of Freenet, ha), who doubles as one hell of a bartender! Ahh...

Oh, that and it's my boyfriend's 20th birthday tomorrow!

its saturday, had a wonderful day out with one of my best girls! then the great indian at the end of the day topped the day off right, after all those cocktails.
Even losing an earring of my fav earrings didn't bother me... shit happens! Now, to find a place where I can get a Vietnamese cookbook.

Oh and I also "ran" my first ever 10K today and while I was slow, I finished (!) and I was not last (!!).
Having random people clapping and cheering you on at the side of the track was amazing, I wanted to hug them all, they helped tons when my left foot totally cramped up at 6km and I couldn't feel my toes. Those cheerers got me through to the end, as did the older ladies who then had a sprint finish with me at Marienplatz - cheeky beggars!!

And me! Have to say I pretty much hated it all the way but I did it and now I feel great...the little girl giving hi-fives helped me out & made me smile through my stitch.

I feel I have earnt the afternoons beer.

The weather is absolutely gorgeous. WMVY's jazz show on the radio. Kids splashing around in the pond. All the necessary chainsaw work accomplished yesterday with a surprise visit from our neighbor bringing a bucket truck, so a bit "good kinda tired" from all the muscle work. Spouse surprised us all with an ice machine. Life is good.

I'm listening to Silversun Pickups, packing for a month traveling around the Baltic Sea, and meeting my great friends to watch the game. Despite the daily frustrations, you sometimes have to take a step back and realize this is a pretty fun ride we're on.

Cos i don't have to listen to the Erics where i work going on about winning the Europa Meister, they were bloody lucky to get to the final.

cuz we beat Lewis Hamilton in a sailing race around the Isle of Wight on saturday!

I am happy because I feel better today after being too sick to have any fun for the whole weekend.

Because someone left a note on their office door for the Bote (internal postman) but wrote "Für Boote:", which I think is really cute, that someone is leaving messages for the boats. Then I started imagining the corridors being canals and having to take a gondola to go get coffee.

Because my unpaid internship is not unpaid after all. I do get paid a little. (Enough to cover my expenses.)
