Why are you happy today?

I`m happy because i chose the blue paint for the living room

1. I have organized the container for the Sperrmüll garbage.
2. I have taken the old clothes to the Red Cross.
3. I have taken the electronic junk to the junkyard.
4. I have finally cleared the basement and can have the jumble sale
5. I have helped a friend out of a tight spot and acquired a cat.
6. I have managed to sell more of the Scogs collections.
Used DVDs (action, vampires, sci-fi)
Used DVDs, TV series and box sets
Used paperback books (vampires, sci-fi)

This all means, of course, that Germany will lose against Austria this evening.

EDIT: My Ma insisted on walking to the store to buy my Weißbier to drink during the game. Now I feel really guilty, the balance of emotions is restored, Germany has a chance again.

after a misunderstanding with some very special people in my life we were able to act like adults and apologize to each other, its amazing the healing power of a few words- I am sorry! Glad I was able to say it, and it didn't hurt, and was quiet easy to say. I am happy because we are all friends again, and happy about it.

i am happy today because i found a coin laundry open 18 hours a day 7 days a week and its nice and new and has 4 reasonably priced internet pc´s if i forget to take my book with me, a coffee automat that makes reassuringly terrible coffee and there is a change machine to boot.

I found (where) my cell phone pin papers are. Now I can go test my new phone.

I woke up with a smile today, (and no, had nothing to do with sex- you bunch of pervs ) , something just felt right.

I am on HOLIDAY

because my baby daughter laughed for the first time yesterday

Because I have both basements and the pantry cleared and the big junk is being carted away by a specialist firm. Hallelujah!

Because after being in Germany for exactly a year this month, I am happy that someone gave me the chance to work in a field I would have never considered in the US. Their belief in my abilities was not only reassurance that life does work in mysterious ways, but also my way to remain in Munich and start a new life with family and friends.

I had a smashing weekend, albeit little sleep but it was fab!

I'm happy because I found out yesterday I might be able to study in Sweden when I am all done with my 'uni-break' here in Deutschland! Yay!

Because it's Friday, quarter to two. I leave at four and I'm going to have scampi and chips for my dinner, while watching Judge Judy. And I don't have to get up at five tomorrow! Yay!!

Because its almost the weekend and this weekend is extra special coz I'm going to see Celine Dion - YAAAAY!!!

It's almost the social weekend! The kids have parties to go to, I have parties to go to, the games are on, the weather is still nice, a customer called and offered a big project without bickering about the price, the phone is quiet, the cats are quiet, my hand stopped hurting, one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world gets into town tomorrow. It's just a nice day

Last night really was the shortest night of the year. Some time this morning I saw the sky getting light and laid myself down to sleep next to the fire. Woke up a couple of hours later basking in the hot sun, fire still burning, both my dogs had found a place to sleep (Asterix on the neighbour's sofa, Jess upstairs in front of my door), and I'm totally revelling in the solstice thing (I can be such a fucking hippie).

Claude Challe's "Happiness" is building me back up and the world rocks. Just got the kids to collect bottle-tops in a 1-for-1 exchange for gummi-baerli. Don't think I'll make it to the gym this morning, though!

because tomorrow is monday, and thanks to my love for my new job, i actually can't wait to go to work.

because the sun is shining, im gonna have a nice long bath, then make myself pretty and am off for lunch at my friends house who's just invited me. Sundays are soooooo nice (i dont care if the shops are closed heheeh)

because I look at my little son in his new 'legs' courtesy of Otto Bock and still can't believe I see him WALKING!

Because my heavy boxes of books are in the garage pending my move.

Because I'm about to set off for the Celine Dion Concert!

Because the prospective tenants like the house and the landlady let me do the sale's pitch (seeing as I live here and know more about the neighborhood).

Because I am nowhere near that Celine Dion concert!

Because it has been such a beautiful and warm day and maybe it will even end with a wild thunderstorm.

I'm happy because my bf suprised me with a Wii as an early birthday present. And what makes me even happier is that I kick his ass at Wii Boxing last night.

Because Celine Dion was absolutely brilliant. God she has a fantastic voice!

Because I don't have to put up with bottom feeding pond life and other assorted scum bags!

I had a great evening out with friends, and they cooked a great indian meal for me.
Things are looking up.

Because I had a fabulous weekend with a very special young lass!!

I'm happy because I've finally found a youngish german capable of holding a decent conversation, and willing to do so! No more 'lunch-with-computer-every-work-day'. And as a bonus, I get to learn more German!
