One of the most scenic places I've visited - warm fuzzy thoughts just remembering the day.

I have today off (have to work saturday- but will deal with that then) and am meeting a good friend for lunch today, and its not too hot out! Just right!

Cos i've got an interview for a job back in my beloved Munich.

Because my boss called me up, completely out of the blue, to tell me I've been promoted.

No change in responsibilities, just a new title and salary grade. Awesome!

Cuz I got to see a couple of really cool people who are just visiting and who just called on the way into town from the airport last night - two unrelated flights and people - and I went salsa dancing for the first time!

Because after going through about 10 boxes of junk in the basement I can now take a bath.

I am off work & the sun is shining

Cos my dumb boss is pissed off that i am finishing my contract today instead of on friday.

Told him why it's important due to something important back home but he doesn't see it.

I am happy because my headache is gone and it's a lovely day!

I am happy because I just managed to get my sister OFF the phone by playing a doorbell ringing on my iPhone.

Because I just sold some of my stuff to one of my roommates. I will still have to sell a bunch of stuff online but better than nothing.

I just changed jobs a month ago and I am sooo very happy about it! An absolutely right decision!

Because Lufthansa has found my Ma's suitcase with all the prezzies in it. I just hope it doesn't get delivered in a body-bag the way Air France did.

Because my parmesan sauce worked out perfectly - both consistency and taste. Both my kids asked for second helpings.

Because both of my packages from mum arrived this morning! I've had to hold myself back from diving head first into the peanut butter... ohh, creamy goodness.

That and I was told that I did a good job at moving hay bales with my to-be father-in-law yesterday. He's a very picky man with high expectations.

I'm happy because this thread reminds me of how my mom used to ask us to tell her something good that happened to us today.

I picked up my new car this morning - a new 1er Cabrio - black. I love it!! The one upside to what has been an otherwise shitty week.

had an intersting day on a betriebs ausflug without the bosses, was a team building day with the coworkers. Spend the morning dragon boat racing (we won)... then we did teams of 10 in different stations and had to work together to solve problems using both our brains and our sporting ability. Was fun, and we all got wet in the water, but thank god the rain held off til we were finished.
Funniest part was the Plus X sport company that did this for us, told of of this great lunch they will have for us, and we had to laugh when it was one of the same Italian restaurtants that are patients in the office and we use them often for special lunches and evenings.
Was a really good day out, just hope we can use the team building we learnt/used today in the office.

It's quiet, no boys of any age around, I'm not hung over, I can work without distraction, I have nachos with cheddar cheese in the oven for breakfast.

Today, I am happy that I am not a dog. If I were a dog, I might be out with my friends and one of them might decide to pee on my face. As a person, this has never happened to me.

I am happy cause I have managed to get a hire car in London for just 120 squid for 7 days, auto, a/c and one way rental, also got a hotel in banbury, pretty close to the track.
