Nice one!
I think that I am happy because I just had the first massage of six to loosen up my blocked neck muscles but I am too sore and dizzy to know what I really feel like.

Because I just got the maddest message from someone who I knew 8 years ago back in Erlangen and now I'm really happy as (she's from Iceland and now living back there - and tons happier than she ever was in Germany) she has told me how to say "four beers on a turntable" in Icelandic again.
Might seem a bit random but back then I was a Navision Financials DBA and all our consultants were from Iceland, so it would be non-stop yo yo (Icelandic for "yeah right") in the office.
Fjórir stórir bjórar á snúninsbordi was the source of no end of fun because the consultants would get us all to pronounce it, it sounds well funny to an Icelander to hear non-Icelanders try and say it.
Them all laughing would make me laugh, like the memories today.
The interweb? It's a fine thing.

Canada just did a perfect 'Take and Hit' in the Women's World Curling tourney to pull ahead of China in the Gold Medal Game. Was an awesome shot! Lets hope they keep it up for the next two ends.
edit- all good is restored in the world, again Canada reigns at Ice Sports and won the Gold, looking forward to next weeks Men's tourney from Grand Forks ND, will be only Canadians in the stands again!

Decide what?
well, they literally were just born. When i posted the first message half the litter had not yet been born. So we need to wait a bit and also figure out which dog would be the best fit for us (temperment, etc.).
I'm all about shelter/rescue dogs, but this dog is coming from a breeder for a reason (this is a line i want and will hopefully fit for what i hope to do with the dog) so we'd like to get a pup that matches most what we're looking for. I already have some guilt for not getting a shelter/rescue dog so we'd like to make sure the pup we choose has the highest chance of fitting with what we'd like since we're going against the shelter/rescue dogs.

Cos i've just come out of a Project Management meeting where the person in charge of the prototype before mine was given a thorough kicking with lots of red faces and yelling involved.
That in itself doesn't thrill me as i know mine is to come but because i've had a month or so off my stress levels have dropped dramatically and i know i'll handle it.

I’m happy because some people have voted for Brennan in a contest. We’re trying to win money for the Border Collie rescue I’m part of. First step is to get Brennan to win this voting period, then get him to win the finals. (we have no control over the finals since Bissell decides that).
If you’d like to help please do so! Just click the link, fill in the info and you’re done! Not only does it take only 5 seconds, but you’ve also done a good deed and tried to help animals in need- you can then be happy too

(in case you want to share in the happiness
here’s the link to vote for Brennan)

I'm happy and ignited because I saw a fascinating documentary film today ("The Moses Code"-- sequel to "The Secret", world premiere) with a group of people from xing (LoA) and got to witness some interesting live, on stage transformations using advanced NLP techniques.
And... my favorite NLP coach, John Paul Walsh, who graciously took some time off from Rugby and beer with the boys, invited (and sat next to) me. *smile*
He's found a great location for his NLP study group, btw: Im Tal, 5th floor, over Burger King. Thank you, Britta, founder and owner of the language school Modolingo. *abrazo*
We meet twice a month now. Cf. his website: FreeMind.com.
