i cannot decide if it's a compliment or insult to be called a "lovely, young instructor".
I guess that's what one of my students refered to me as in a message she left at the Kennel Club.
since today is a blah day and i'm apprehensive about meeting with a client who's dog has 3 diff issues i'll take it as a "make me happy" thing (something has to today!)

I am happy at this very moment because I am eating delicious Korean food whilst listening to Rachmaninoff. It can't get any better than this.
I am happy everyday because being alive feels great, and life is beautiful - every moment of it.

I am exceptionally happy at the moment after recently being informed, in a rather efficient manner by my German girlyfriend, that I was to become a dad !!!
Who would have thought...!!
Yay, how cool is that!

Congrats Mooster !
awesome!!! enjoy it
i just returned from a client's house where we went through different counter-conditioning techniques to work on with the problems her dog has. It's nice seeing someone become reliefed that there is a hope for their dog. Before i got there she thought her dog would have to be put down, but now she sees things can change and her dog is not as bad as she thought. We got Indie to be calm by the kid who he attacks and Brandon, the kid, could walk around him and everything no problem. Let's just hope she keeps working with him to keep it up! (Indie has 3 main issues).
it's also nice getting a message from a friend when i get back to the car asking how it went since i was nervous about it- nice to know people listen and care!

@ mooster: What exactly was the efficient manner? I showed my then future ex the dot on the ultrasound picture. And happy parenthood to you both.
DON is here today and tomorrow for an exam workshop. I was just briefly in the boardroom by them. Navy uniforms definately make me happy

Who is Don?
Department of the Navy.
we do a SSBB-DON (or perhaps it's DoN) exam for them-- six sigma black belt.
would you like to come join me bd? we can figure out a way to unobtrusively get free food/drink and watch them (also while getting me away from looking at more engineering, calibration technician, and auditor exams-- yawwn!!!)

I am so happy today because my daughter's Einschulung didn't get rained out and I was able to watch the WHOLE thing because my two little ones were in Kindergarten

Six Sigma was all the rage in my company a few years back (did a basic course) but it seems to have gone out of fashion last year or so...
bd- suggesting nothing

you just want to hang out with me!
HEM- i don't care i just work with the translations of the exams.
some people do Lean, some do SS, some do Lean six sigma. When it comes to six sigma there are also the diff. levels and crap. (i don't care about SS. it's not my favorite exam or program).

Anchors away my boys, anchors away.
i was just asked to coach rowing!
wow... i'm not sure if i will or not, but it's still makes me happy that my former university team thought to ask me (this is the 3rd time in a row-hahah aren't i punny? i've been asked. the past 2 years i couldn't because i was in DE).
also, class went well last night even though two of the annoying people were there and another trainer as there for awhile and complimented me on some of my techniques

(unhappy note- my dog is still rather sick

)

my life is slowly coming together: training dogs, being asked to coach-something I’ve wanted to do for the past 6 yr, soon will be fostering for a Border Collie rescue, love where I live, have a job-even if I don’t like it, and some really good friends and family! Now only if I could decide on which program to do for my masters, like my job a bit more, and be by a certain someone- I’ll even take same continent!

Was suppose to go out to dinner tonight and now I am just sitting here eating tortilla chips.
uh eurovol, wouldn't that be why you're UNhappy?
add some cheese and things to make tasty nachos!
My fiancee is coming back tomorrow and this time permanently

I am rather very happy I am really tired of doing the b/w here and america thing which we have been doing for way to long. Now I am just trying to get the apartment clean for her arrival. Of course the washing machine decided to spew water all over the floor yesterday and subsequently break down. which means I had had to take a lot of laundry to the Laundry-mat, however I don't think I have ever seen my bathroom floor so shining clean in quite some time.
oh that's exciting!!! have fun.
ending the distance thing must be nice. how long has it been?
I have waterproof packed my stuff in my knapsack for my weekend canoe trip, got everything packed, all showered and cleaned up, and sitting down having a Bacardi Cola.

we met in Regensburg three years ago. The problem was she was only in Germany for a year as an exchange student. She spent a year finishing up her degree and ended up taking a teaching position for a year because she couldn't find a job here. We spent two years commuting b/w germany and illinois. Luckily we had access to buddy passes so it was doable. It was too long and I'm glad it's now over. I'm actually stressed as anything right now, but in a kinda good way.
surprise phone calls are nice.

(so is eating cheap thai afterwards)

I just finished my run and was a bit frustrated that they had part of Olympiasee blocked off, so I opted for a different route home. Paid off though as I went off my usual path and tried something new - I ended up improving by distance by nearly 1/3 a km in the exact time
Am very happy about that indeed. Think I will try more often to take the less travelled and unfamiliar path when ever I can, not just while running, but in life in general

Today I took a fat-burning spinning class for the first time and it's was awesome!!! Never thought I'd find myself spinning, but my step aerobics class was cancelled so I gave spinning a try. I now know where I'm spending Fridays at 1700 I will be at spinning. Then I did Bauch, Bein, and Po. Now this old lady is very tired and heading to bed.
