Why are you happy today?

because not sleeping alone last night negated my dog being kicked out of the bar thus putting a crimp on the romantic date (note: the dog was not the date, but a 3rd wheel on the date).

Cos i've had a wonderful sunday doing nothing all day and have just ordered a Chicken Vindaloo delivery from Ganesha to go with a nice bottle of red whilst watching Big Brother On The Couch.

Because the football trainer has just taken one of my kids swimming!! (WW3 was about to break out and it's only day one of the holidays!!)

Another of my Okie friends got engaged! Good thing I do not live there, else I'd be feeling the pressure to find me someone to get married to. Phew! Three friends of mine have gotten engaged since May! All my age too! (And all American.)
Now they just need to plan their weddings for three weekends in a row... That would be a good excuse to go back anyway.

I'm legal again! my new work visa got approved!

After over seven months of being camera-less, I now have a new digital compact Panasonic DMC-FX100!!

Finally talking to a friend from Dallas again! She was so busy with school she was never online but now she is, yay! I miss my friends in OK/TX/wherever they are now...

Because I had a great day indoors with the kids today, painted with them, played horsey with them climbing all over me, and built a tower out of Lego up to the sky with them. I even hoovered with little stress thanks to lots of daft posts on TT. Thanyx again.

Because my husband is arriving in town in less than 12 hours.

b/c tomorrow is farmer's market day. i really like the local market in the park a block from my house. also, it may not happen, but a friend might come over later tonight or tomorrow which would be great since i haven't seen him for awhile and he's great with my dog and we can just hang out on the beach all day doing nothing but lying there in silence or in idle conversation just enjoying hanging out together.

and because tomorrow i'll see a really good friend that i've not seen for ages and i've missed.

Because I was playing with my daughter tonight and she started laughing and giggling

God that reminds me of my child and the joy i got from it, treasure it Crawlie and hold it close, it never gets better my friend.

Because I finally moved back to Munich (okay, that was a week ago, but still) and found an awesome apartment! Moving just around the corner from the Paradiesstraße stop on Tram 17 as of Aug. 19!

Because the w/end may not be so bad after all, I´m going to HBK and I shall do my thing and needn´t worry about anything.

last night was lovely. hung out on the beach looking at the city reflecting over the lake and the orangish moon. Now just came back from a nice run and in 1/2 hour meeting some coworkers at my local farmer's market.

I made some kick ass salsa tonight, about to enjoy it with some Cuba Libras and my taco salad.

Ah yeah, as far as I know none of mine have ventured into the house buying business yet. And very glad my friends here are more like me in this regard. I.e. still in uni, not married, not engaged...

I just moved!!! Leaving the Westend and a really expensive apartment with bad memories behind, while starting anew in Oerrad. Yeah! : )

I had a wonderful weekend with two amazing, lovely men who just make me laugh. I went to the Freibad and had hours in the ice cold water and then drying off in the beautiful sun...

Shame Monday had to come round so quick!

Am very happy with and proud of myself today! I am on day 14 with no chocolate!!! And I have also stuck to my fitness plan entire last week. Giving myself a pat on the back (where as before I would reward myself with a chocolate bar ). I dont even have the craving.

Because today I met with a guy who was an exchange student here a year ago, and he is back in Heidelberg for a month. We were supposed to meet at 1, but then my bus didn't come and I was 30 mins late, and he wasn't there anymore. He doesn't have a cellphone so I couldn't call him. So I went to the internet cafe of the university to send him a message, and asked him to call me, and then met up with a friend who happened to be downtown. And just when I was about to go home he called me so we got to hang out after all. And it was really fun! So instead of one friend I got to hang out with two, and everything worked out really well in the end.

I am exceptionally happy at the moment after recently being informed, in a rather efficient manner by my German girlyfriend, that I was to become a dad !!!
