I am fairly happy today cos I finally managed to talk with my X-wife about my daughter that I have rarely seen for the past 6 years and persuaded her that we can go to a therapy thing together. But she is still incredibly anal-retentive about stuff that was said 6 years ago!

Because Hem wrote something and spared me some time looking for this thread and mainly becuase I talked to a very good friend after 6 years of not knowing anything from each other. Isn't the internet a wonderful thing? It's been many years since those days in Costa Rica on 94, but man there are some good memories.
Yeah, I know that feeling. I recently got back in touch with some friends I had in elementary school and a year ago with some other friends I had in high school.

Glad you understand

There are probably a few individuals I would meet up with but I don't really get to decide who's coming soooo... I don't know. Still a few weeks till I'll be back anyway.
I'm happy coz I won my first argument in German!!!
Stupid old dear in front of me at Edeka couldn't decide which queue was moving faster. She decides on the one I was heading to and stands in front of me, she still keeps watching the other one which is behind the ciggie machine. But, wait a minute, it looks like the other one is moving faster now, so she leaves her place in front of me and goes to the other.
I move up quite happily, am next to get served, ready to load up the conveyor belt and 'bing' she appears in front of me waving her 2 items. I was not amused

so tell her off that I am here now and she is not. ok basic German but it worked!! I stared at her then she apologised - Result!!!

I got my tickets to the Larry Carlton concert at the Bayerischen Hof Hotel on Tuesday and the Scofield concert there on Wednesday. So I'm heading to Munich tomorrow to listen to some good jazz, do some cultural things, eat some sushi at Sushi and Soul, and hang out with my friends. Munich, the greatest Toytown in the world, here I come!!!

In three hours I will be in Munich and in 11.5 hours I will be listening to some good jazz from Larry Carlton. I'm suffering from a very bad case of jazz withdrawals so I'm really looking forward to seeing the concert this evening and the one tomorrow evening with John Scofield. So TT'ers you are spared from my rhetoric for the next few days as I will be very busy painting Toytown Munich
