Well, at least she is an indoor cat - you might feel slightly ridiculous yelling out the door 'Vagiiiiiiina!' at the top of your lungs. (at least I felt this way yelling 'Poopy' but I got over it).

had a great work out at the gym, and even though the weather is crap, I got some great left overs fajitas and going to finish reading my book on angels. (not even trying to think about having to work tomorrow). I just feel good. My glass is half full.

Flying home tonight (Posh Class) for weekend, going out for meal with t'other third at our favourite restaurant tomorrow evening and going to see our first guide dog tomorrow afternoon. The weather is even supposed to be OK.

I have the day off, and am going to spend the weekend with fabulous people and regardless of the weather, just know we'll have a great time.

Original this is not but... IT'S FRIDAY... that means the whole weekend off work!

I got a special bonus at work today for my performance on the second quarter, it's nice to see that it's sometimes worthed working hard.

because i might wear my dirndl tonight! i love dirndls and wearing them. we're doing a bunch of brewery tours (yesterday was Miller crappy tour) and today is Sprecher and Lakefront in a row finishing with a good fish fry at Lakefront Brewery where they have a poka band (kind of German Oompah type band). So i might wear it for fun and that makes me happy!
so does going to one of my friend's weddings tomorrow, sky diving on Sunday, and then Chicago for 2 days!

I am happy, because I finished work early today, and got confirmation that I will be headed to Frankfurt on thursday, then to Bad Kreuznach to pick up my girlfriend then off to cologne for the weekend , http://www.koelner-lichter.de really looking forward to it.

Because I had a lovely relaxing shower and I feel right well squeaky clean and ready for a day of divilmint!

Not sure if I am entirely happy about this, but I bought running shoes, spent a lot of money on them, so now I really do have to go running. Can't leave expensive shoes lying around, right?
And I saw a friend who I had not seen since like December and we went out for dinner together. Had a good time.
And I got a free Chai Latte at Starbucks, because my friend works there now, oh yeah! I love her even more now, haha.

Because I'm back on the mainland after four days in England. Nice to have a real cup of coffee...lol

My comedy batteries need a massive recharge, my mojo has been on the blink a bit recently, so day off tomorrow, and should be in a pub pissing money up the wall by 5pm this afternoon. Nicely nice.

I ahve just found out that I will get an extra 3 days off this year as I have been working here for 20 years...yikes!

Because I successfully beat the system and got my German driving license (after holding a MN license when I moved here) as a 1-1 swap - No test!!

Had a great customer service experience at Kaufhof today.
I had bought my watch at Kaufhof in Munich about a year ago. I got dust in it at some point (not sure how) and yesterday I was at Kaufhof for something else and figured I'd ask about the dust, if there is any way to clean it. The guy told me I would be able to just exchange it for a new one if I bring the receipt. I said, sure thing, I always keep all my receipts, I'll come back tomorrow. Home I went, went through a huge pile of receipts, but this one was nowhere to be found.
I then checked my credit card records to see when exactly I bought the watch (I had then thought I had bought it in Mannheim), and I saw it was while I was in Munich so I probably left the receipt there. Went back to Kaufhof and told the guy that, and he said I need some kind of proof when I bought the watch, I said I could bring my credit card bill, he told me that would work. (Of course all the bill says is the date, amount and Kaufhof Munich, could really have been anything that I bought. This watch was a brand only Kaufhof sells, so they only needed proof of the date to see if my warranty was still valid, though.) I went back this afternoon and they exchanged it for a new one without any problems. They were very nice about it too. And all this without the actual receipt. I guess I was lucky I paid for it with my credit card.
So now I have a new scratch and dust free watch! I could have exchanged it for any watch (of the same value) but I wanted the same one again.

Because I can blame anything that goes wrong today on the date.

Holds up? If you like this sort of weaether - its cold, gray and dripping with rain at the moment in Schleswig-Holstein...

Because Hem wrote something and spared me some time looking for this thread and mainly becuase I talked to a very good friend after 6 years of not knowing anything from each other. Isn't the internet a wonderful thing? It's been many years since those days in Costa Rica on 94, but man there are some good memories.

Well its to visit long time friends coming up from Hamburg and loads of other folks I know are heading there that weekend so it'll be a mini-renunion. I'm shuddering now at the amount of alcohol that will be consumed (irrespective of the weather)!
