Why are you happy today?

After spending the last two weeks in downtown Chicago (see pic below), I'm very happy to be back in Germany where the pace of life in my town is quiet and serene.

Because I have just arrived home after having the tooth removed that I was terrified about having removed!!! Never felt a thing - Dr Weller is great.

Wait until tomorrow Got painkillers?

Yes have stocked up on everything.

Because I got my hair cut and I like my new haircut!

lucky. i got my hair cut and instead of trimming 1/2 inch like they said they would 2.5-3 inches were whacked off

but on the happy note this week has major potential to be great (unfortunately same potential for disaster)!
half of my work group is gone, no work on Wed., fun plans all week (including a wedding, skydiving and a trip to Chicago) and tomorrow i get to see my boyfriend

I'm happy because I slept better the past few days than I have in months.

Well, my mom cut it, and she did actually cut it a little shorter than she or I had planned (well, I didn't have so much of a plan, I just told her to cut it off) but that's cool. I like it anyway... (you can see it in my profile pic).

Thanks. I am so glad my mom knows how to cut hair, saves me so much money. I have only ever twice had my hair cut by someone else, when I was living in the States.

Cos it's monday night already and 20% of the week done

Cos i've just been digging through a bag of paperwork that i moved from my old flat to this one and found nearly £85 ( ca 125 yoyos ) !

Because I just came back from my brother's apartment to visit his and his girlfriend's cute kitten that they just got today (and my bro and his girl of course as well ). Makes me want to have one too!

Because nobody else seems to be awake at the moment and I can post to my heart's delight and see "Last post by: JerseyBoy" everywhere!!!

I am happy because it took me only half an hour to drive to Feldmoching, a feat usually acheived in 12 minutes. And bless Aldi for having a large parking lot next to the Park & Ride because it was packed shortly before 8am.

You forgot to post on the most important thread of all: I am the only user in the village.

Finally booked my flight home for Christmas.

I've almost completely recovered from my jet lag and was able to sleep the entire night .

I'm happy because I (miraculously) woke up at 6:20 am and got my shit together and got on the road to work at 6:40 (one hour earlier than normal) to avoid the whole Sbahn mess...and it only took the normal 20 minutes at that time...but traffic was already like 7:40 am traffic on Ingolstadter strasse.

Because I have an audition tomorrow for the conservatory at Gasteig and I am mostly ready after 8 months of busting my ass. Also happy, so happy, because I fly home to the states for a nice holiday with my entire family...I have a nephew i've never met before! We're also having our US wedding on the beach when we get there. In general, I am on a level of, i'd say, extreme happiness!

I'm very happy being on my first day of vacation after a long 11 months full time season, and am able to be hanging around all morning in bed without having to rush anywhere for anything!!! and the birds are singing beautifully outside... ah, time and space. love it.

5.5 hours and i get to leave work to pick someone up at the train station!!!

Also, no work tomorrow and i'm taking 1/2 days off on thurs and fri and then next mon and tues and possibly wed i'm taking complete days off!
oh and i have my favorite part of my job, translation corrections, to work on the next 2-3weeks!

Cos my boss just informed me that he is too busy this week to accompany on my trip to Toulouse on thurs/fri.

I just saw some cool photos of one of my cousin's apartment in London- what a kick ass place right on the Thames, I am happy that he is so successful and happy.
I as able to give a TTer some business today, I think its important to support each other.

I had a nice second birthday party. Love having two birthday parties every year!

all i can say is at the moment i'm quite the happy girl. we'll see if it lasts.

Because I picked and cooked my first ever harvest of garden peas from my veg bed this morning!

Coz I just spent a fantastic weekend with girl friends in Munich!!! Something we did not do for 12 years!!! : ))) Gotta repeat it in 2 weeks!

I have the afternoon off and am now working in jeans and a soccer shirt to celebrate the spirit of the day.

I´m happy because I finally got all the chewing gum off of Tobi´s belly without cutting into any sensitive bits.
