Bren had an amazing agility class. two days until i take a stupid test so then it's over (i really should study for it though!)
the storm is finally coming! then hopefully the humidity will drop (and the tornado watch is almost over)
unhappy because i found out what area i'll be teaching in if i decide to teach in the fall and i really don't want to do special ed. and i (will/would) be horrible at it.
but on the bright sight midwest border collie rescue got back to me and in another few weeks i'll be cleared to be a foster for some dogs!

OK, what the hell does that mean? Enlighten me please!

I'm happy today because for the first time in ages the family just all got up with happy faces on. And that made our "hug and bussi" start the day ritual even better. Plus I got to watch Star Wars with my boys last night which is just a mega awesome boys thing to do...

it's Friday!!! 'nuff said... only 6 more hours until i can legitimately leave the office...whoop whoop

just had a great work out, feeling great, about to start my birthday week celebrations with a lunch with a good friend, and might even go shopping for a MP3 player today.
Got in touch with a few of my cousins thru a web page, sort of worried about the one that is a medic being sent into Afgahnistan, but he is proud of his job, so I am happy that we have people like that fighting for us.

I'm happy because 1) I rode my bike to the office today (1-way is about 40 minutes) so back and forth is a workout for today 2) my boyfriend is driving to his home town tonight for overnight and I will have the whole house to myself. I can sit on the couch and watch movies in English without being nagged and I can make chocolate chip cookie dough and eat it direct from the bowl!

Because I'm going to one of my favourite restaurants for a posh dinner on Saturday. Might even wear a dress! And I've been invited to Italy for a week in July!

I am happy because I am about to put on a posh dress and head out with some lady friends to celebrate among other things: one house sale (me) and one amicable separation (someone else).

I’m happy because I have just been offered a few weeks work landscape gardening which means that I will be right out in the countryside all day getting dirty in the sun or rain going home with blisters on my hands knowing that I have just earned my Munich money and wont be paying any tax on it

had a good row this morning (sadly i'm now stuck at work) and one of my good friends got engaged yesterday!!! she told me when we met at the boathouse this morning! it definately made getting upt at 5:17am worth it i'm so very excited for her!
oh, and tomorrow i get more info on a program i'm debating doing (Teaching, but unfortunately special ed.) and only a bit over 3 weeks until i get a week i've been looking forward to for awhile.

Bought myself a new iron with a steam thingy underneath and it is making life so much easier

I was able to find a loving home for a very sweet kitten and save her from a life of disease and constant hunger at the farm. And, my cat escaped a potentially deadly collision with a car yesterday with only some bruises and a harsh lesson about sitting in the road (which is probably what she was doing!).

Last Episode of The Sopranos! woohoo! Cannot wait man, awesome.

I met a nice neighbor who is going to check in once in the morning and once in the afternoon on my "D" word which I am not allowed to mention anywhere except in my blog.

And it was a good one too.
Let's just say that there's a good chance of a Sopranos movie.

ahh.. it was you who stole my earlier happy/elated mood... well, at least it's being put to good use!

Because I just saw Jude Law's perfectly shaped bare bottom on TV.

And I know the nicest, sweetest guy in the whole world (and it's not Jude Law).

My little brother and his girlfriend were on a trip a few days ago, and my brother just showed me the pictures the other day. On one picture they (bro & gf) are looking at each other and you can totally see how much in love they are which is so sweet. They are both young (21) and have been living together for almost a year now, so I am so proud and happy for them that things are going so well. I honestly didn't expect that in the beginning but I am so glad I was wrong.

I am sooo happy because last night, for the first time in three weeks, I slept through the night! Seven hours of uninterrupted sleep: Heaven!

Best cup of strong black coffee I made in ages. Mmmm.

because i get to go to an int'l marketing update meeting thus getting away from ISO 9000 glossary in Spanish. ahhhh i'm sick of standards and making a list of terms for translators!!!

and tonight i hopefully get more info on the teaching program (unfortunately special ed) i might do so i can decide if i'm going too

I got a flower delivery at 8am this morning. My brother and his family sent me a dozen red roses, they are such a beautiful deep red colour. They smell nice too.
And thru Facebook, I have reaquinted myself with some friends from my childhood, funny 30 years go by and we can just pick up where we left off in the playground.

I am happy because Emily (the Mighty Limper) managed to jump onto the bed last night and lay down on my stomach while I was reading. First time she did that in ten days.

I am happy because Poopy (suicidal cat) is feeling better and is running around and playing again. And that BabyCat has a new name (BeeCee Nemo) and a new family (Finn and Tori) and lots of love instead of a life of hunger and disease at the farm.

I am happy that I was able to find a temporary home for Nemo (thanks Ruthie!) til she can come officially and live with me and Finn!

Because so many TT'ers are going to this event this weekend ... Aren't you?

I'm happy because I just saw one of my department's very attractive assistants in a not-so-opaque white skirt wearing, well...

I am alone in my office today without the co-worker who insists on having the windows open to the street. Ah...peace and quiet and air conditioning!!

I am happy to have met such nice people and other fuzzy little critters through Toytown.

I am ecstatic because a little fuzzy being very close to my heart instantly figured out fetching this evening. Casually, when we walked in the door from the German Stammtisch -- I threw his squeaky rubber stick. He chased it, and brought it back to me -- over and over again! He´s soooo smart. My dog is an Honor Student at Mommy Ruthie´s School of Puppies.
