ME TOO! 5 weeks left before maternity leave and 12 vacation days to burn before that...yippee! Only a few more trips to Frankfurt!

I'm happy today because I finally got my Niederlassungserlaubnis (and I didn't have to pay anything). Which means that unless I do something really really naughty, Germany has no reason to make me go home...EVER. Also, I went shoe shopping.

I'm happy because in two hours I will be catching a train home and spend the rest of the week with mr. ajohnson. And next week is vacation...and halloween...and my birthday...i love this time of year!

I'm happy coz the weather's lovely, and I don't have too bad a hangover, and I cycled in to work, and I don't have much to do, and the random guy who was sitting in my office (coz I didn't get in til 10) thought I was german when I kicked him out which is a surprisingly nice feeling.

It's a good day.

Ok, I cancel that. You will not get my vote for presidency. You people have still not learned the Golden Rule of Life in Munich: DO NOT ENCOURAGE THE RAIN! NOT AT ALL! When it starts it continues for weeks, even months like we saw last summer! There is no in-between!

I am happy today because it is Friday and I am fit enough to go out with some very nice people tonight.

I am happy because yesterday I got a new aupair job with an awesome family and I even get my own apartment..sooo happy I even danced through the Ubahn station singing to my mp3 player. Thanks to everyone that offered me rooms and help when I wasn't sure what was going to happen to me

... my clients think I'm still on vacation and will leave me alone for another few days (or at least I have an excuse for not answering the phone) ...
... and that feels like playing truant and is actually better than still being on vacation

I am happy today because just now the doorbell rang and it was a Halloween package from my girlfriend in the States...a cd of creepy Halloween music, ghost and bat cookie cutters, Halloween candy and best of all a HUGE bag of candy corn! Yum!
