Why are you happy today?

yah, that was weird for me when I first moved here, but I get lots of things like wine, prosecco, champagne, flowers, money, costmetic stuff... the list goes on.

Just because we haven't had a Willi picture in a while ...

It's Friday and I've been livin' for the weekend.

I'm happy because I went to my pilates class today. Didn't go the last two Sundays.

Mexican food! I just had some good Mexican food at a friend's cousin's house. And just generally had a great evening! And they gave us the left-overs from our dinner, so I can have tacos again tomorrow. Mmmm...

Actually managed to complete German tax declaration & take it to the local Finanzamt.
Normally I'm ready in March but this time it dragged on & on & on (all the hassle of Arbeitszimmer etc).
Anyhow young guy accepted the documents, just wanted to see two "Belege" & said all was OK.

Today is my day.
-got ticket confirmation for berlin/munich in September
-25 degress outside
-picked up 10 rolls of Fujis finest B-n-W
-got a job (with no piss test requirment0
-bought 4 new sketch books
-neighbor has allocated a spot in her garden for me
-Elliot Smith double CD comes out tomorrow
-now looking for a bag...of hope of course

Because i met someone at the Comedy Club that i thought i had lost and i had a fabulous time.

I went to the info meeting for the exchange to BCN today and I found out I can extend my stay to July if I want to - so if I end up liking it I will extend (I can decide after I have already been there some time), because originally I had not planned staying a year because I will graduate another semester later (I feel like I will never graduate), but then I realized, I really like being in school. I do not feel ready to graduate anyway, and if I can spend more time abroad I should, won't hurt my Spanish and Catalan, and myself. Plus I can keep living in my bubble a little longer before I need to deal with the real world.

Especially happy as have just heard that Hammer House of Horror films are coming back and the first one involves vampire lesbians.
Perfect.

I'm happy right now because I don't commute! Hadn't thought about it for ages and now I remember how lucky I am.

I'm happy I survived my one hour of step aerobics and one hour of power weight lifting classes today without breaking my leg or pulling a muscle .

My best friend is coming here for the weekend. Hell yeah!

I am happy, because after everyone's overtime was cancelled and we lost hours of work, I am getting overtime (but I am picking and choosing). Pays to go to work with a smile now, make a whole world of difference.

It's Friday, sunny with the promise of more sunshine this weekend, and I am going to walk around the Egglburger See with Haggis Junior on Mothers Day (unless she comes up with something more interesting but just as cheap).

I am even happier now because I managed to get an overhead projector from Saturn at the price offered by Conrad - almost half off Saturn's list price! I rule today!

I have been drinking watching a bunch of tters attempting to learn to play poker! what a fun night!

going to go play wii... although really i should go to sleep so i'm not crabby for Mother's Day brunch (plus i need to run out before and go shopping to get a Mother's Day present)
had good fried cheese curds/tator tots and tastey local beer with some of my best friends tonight (we all are only together 1-2x/yr)

I think I should mayb consider a career in fortune-telling...
Yesterday I picture's of a friend's sister's wedding, and I said to my best friend, "you know, I think she is going to get married soon as well" (because her other sister just got married as well, 6 months ago, so she is the only unmarried one out of three sisters).
Today she tells me that her boyfriend just proposed to her yesterday!
I am happy for her, but what is it with southern kids and getting married so damn early!

Just found a krapfen in my fridge as i was searching for beers, it's about a week old but just need the sugar rush.
