I am happy because:
1. I had an interesting and productive (!!!) week at work and was able to sit in on a meeting with the Palestinian Information Minster - sometimes my job rules .
2. The weather has been wonderful and should stay that way for the weekend.
3. I have a long weekend and will be getting on a train to Munich this afternoon to visit my boyfriend .

i have just finished a week of early shifts at work, i have got home the fridge is full of beer, and the sun is shining. my lawn looks perfect the flowers are blooming and the weekends going to be a scorcher. i intend to play in the garden with my son, drink beer, bbq and say fuck it to all work thoughts and anyone or anything that trys to stop me enjoying this weekend. i dont live to work!

I am now the owner of a bike. It belonged to a former tenant who left it here years ago, so I got it for free. It needs some work done but my neighbor will help me with that. Yay! This is kind of a good weekend, all these good news.
Because I had a great weekend (with NO work at all), met up with lots of lovely friends, went shopping and now my flatmate is making a banana, baileys, icecream smootie for us... hmmmm...

Had a great time bbqing with my neighbors last night, and I now have a functioning bike (with the exception of the lights), thanks to my neighbor who helped me because I have no clue how to fix a bike. I also took it for a quick test ride, and I like it! Quality DDR work. lol

On a side note: I'm happy today because after quiting my old job and over a month of waiting, twiddling my thumbs and generally being bored out of my brain, I finally got the work permit approved for my new job and can now start doing something constructive with my time again!

oh! i'm happy b/c on Sunday I get to hang out with my hungover friend. He has some formal thing on Sat. evening that i got out of (another reason i'm happy) because I'm babysitting so Sunday we made a deal of making good food and staying in with a bottle of wine and a movie. It's exciting catching up with old friends, especially when they'll be severly hung over and at your mercy!
