just saw this, we must have missed you, we turned up about 3.30, but really weren't looking for others, was a great day there.
Sitting on the Neckarwiese and walking along the Neckar with a view on the Altstadt and Schloss, I realized what a freakin' beautiful town Heidelberg is.
i'm happy because i entertained heaps of people last night with my drunkness. I must say I am out of drinking practice and I'm not sure the next time i'm going to allow myself 2beers, 3 long islands, and 5 shots. May not sound like a lot, but when you're out of practice it is.
I might be happy if I wasn't hallucinating parts of a conversation last night, but that i'm not sure about yet (the conversation needs to be clarified to see if it went how i think it might've).

Cos i'm determined to take a break, ok only a long weekend but i will live through all the moaning at work.
Because my bag fell off my bike this morning and two young punks (no really, they had the mad hair and everything) not only got it for me, they helped me to rearrange the stuff into my baskets too and couldn't be helpful enough.

That and the bloke cycling past me in the Englischer Garten who called out "That's a lovely dress you have on!" yesterday then pedalled off have brightened my existance.

I'm happy today because my boss was smart enough to reverse a very bad decision she'd made before I had to file a grievance with the union which meant I would have to do additional paperwork to file my grievance. I'm paperwork challenged . I abhor paperwork!

My roomie left her cat here. She hasn't been here in days and the cat is always around the house. I wonder who feeds the cat (probably no one). Poor cat.
I cleaned the bathroom and the hallway today, took me three hours, but now it is all very clean and I am happy that I finally got my own bathroom back that is clean and that I don't have to share with anyone until someone new moves into the other room. And I made €30 too (seeing as I got paid for the cleaning from my roomie's deposit ).

As i was stuck in traffic (due to an accident) crossing the big bridge over the Port of Milwaukee that links my neighborhood to downtown I saw a cargo thing for Hamburg Sud. I was excited. Not sure if it got here by train or boat, but I think it was probably being brought to the Port of Milwaukee to leave by boat.
Also, I figured out I live almost exactly 1mi down the road from the Naval/Marine reserve center and the Coast Guard Station (they are across the street from each other). My roommates love it because often you'll see them outside in uniform Now we just have to figure out which local bars they go to...

After no American T.V. for one year I'm ecstatic today because I finally got my satellite so now I have all the T.V. shows from America. I've watched David Letterman and Jay Leno already today and they made me laugh.
even if the sun ain't shinin, I am, I just feel good, got some issues worked out at work, got some great friends, and life just seems to be going great for me at the moment, and am listening to some cool 80's tunes on Itunes radio.
I have the afternoon off. OK, I have to visit my bank manager, but after 4pm - whoopeee! Maybe I can find a jerk to run into my car (see The Vent), then the day will be perfect.
After all the shit I went through last year, I am now dating someone who is loving, kind, generous, gentle, hot, sexy, beautiful... and is just the sweetest thing...
After 3 months of denying Arbeitslosengeld to husband, the Arbeitsamt finally reversed their first decision and decided that they shouldn't have blocked his Arbeitslosengeld in the first place. And they will be paying the expenses we incurred in protesting against their first decision
I just came home and my neighbor was in the hallway with my other neighbor's 3 month old daughter! She is sooooo cute! Makes me want to have my own baby, except not really, but wow, she is soooo adorable!!!

My best friend just had a little baby boy 12 days late. I am just happy they are both safe and well! (oh, and another good friend just told me she is pregnant!) Loadsa babies!!
My cousin's girlfriend is having a baby in September as well (I found out about that on Easter already). Yep, everyone is having babies.

Because I want to do lots of positive things for my health. Lots of them. Especially at the weekend.
