Hazza

On 17 July, my band (Dirty Work) has a gig at The Bondi. I realise a lot of people are going to
Andechs that day, but it would be cool if people could come and see us afterwards. I'm quitting the band after this gig, so it'll be the last chance you'll have to see us.
We'll be playing from about 9pm, unless the weather's really good - in which case we'll probably start a bit later.
Hope to see some TT's there that night.
Cheers,
H

Heya, those of us who have seen the band already know that they rock! At least Hazza does and we should all support him. We still can go afterwards.. or stay in Bondi (i will suffer on sunday that would mean...

)
Yeah Hazza, I'll be there for sure! Come on TT's, it will be a good night out a´nd you still can go out later on!
Ah by the way, the Munich Kangaroos are playing the Aussie rules final in Berlin tomorrow, so a big
Go on the Munich Kangoroos!!!

Wow! Good luck, Hazza! Let me know if it's raining, then we'll come and support you again.. NOT!
I'll be up for next Saturday, we'll make sure all the
Andechs trip crowd get dragged along...

Jul 8 2004, 12:07 pm
Well JoolyBooly, the game was on last weekend and we lost...

Jul 8 2004, 2:32 pm
Oh no! That's a shame, sorry.
You should have taken us with you, then you would have won... all the opposition were too busy trying to figure out how you were able to get an entire team of cheerleaders just for yourself, and couldn't concentrate on the game!

Jul 8 2004, 3:53 pm
You could have come along, but we played in Berlin...
But come along to the Bondi and see the gig...should be a good night - especially if you're all tanked up after Andechs!!!

Would be great to see as many as you as possible on Saturday night. I know the tunnel party's on then too - but seriously, do you wanna go to a party that's been organised by the MVV?
We should be starting by around 9pm. There's no cover charge either.
@Hazza, the party isn't organized by the
MVV, just by somebody who managed to get permission to use their tunnel.

Hazza mate, I think I'll probably be there after
Andechs - simple reason is that I doubt I'll manage a late one (or not that late) after beering it all day in Andechs, and if I go to Garching and run out of steam at 2am there will be no way home except a cab from Garching - way too expensive to justify to my bank manager with my holiday coming up...

I'll be there!
You still can go to the tunnel party afterwards...

I imagine that there will be good connections back to München centre from the party - otherwise no one would go. There'll prob. be a shuttle bus from Garching Hockbruck to town. German's are good at this kinda thing.

Hmmm - in the middle of the night? It's not mentioned on their 'website'. I must confess I have grave reservations of being stuck in Garching at a party that'll be shite. My understanding is that most of the tunnel will be like a big street party with tables and chairs and the odd bar, with a disco down the end... And toilets? Not many tunnels have toilets in in my experience...

Ah stop being so negative about it. It sounds like fun and it's "einmalig" - that's enough for me.

Jul 16 2004, 9:48 am
Haha - you telling me not to be negative??! Ha! I doubt you'll get in anyway mate

.
As I've said already though - I can see myself ending up there, but I fully expect it to be crap.

Also, I see a great danger of injuring an ankle if you're dancing anywhere near the rail track...

Hazzas band good - bondi sucks
This is what I just posted on the TT guide...
QUOTE
Maybe if they shut bondi down and turned it into a starbucks/SFCC/coffee fellows it could be a place with a little more atmostphere.
Went in there last night - if it wasnt for the live music(which was quite good) the place would have been better served as a morgue.
With no airconditioning, and warm apfelschorlee the place was like a sauna last night - I hate to think what it would have been like if it had been full - but I guess thats not too much of a problem.
Top marks to them for showing the rugby, I guess thats how they keep their business. With expat bars struggling in munich, you'd think bondi would make more of an effort.
wont be going back there any time soonNursey

Hey, thanks everyone who showed up and made it a good night.
It was a lot of fun and the crowd reaction made it a nice way to finish off.

Hazza, like always: Without you the band would have looked terrible

Oh I agree with Bondi, but i ALWAYS have a great time in there, so I can't complain. The only thing is that I think I am allergic to Fosters, i always feel terrible the next day!
I just have to say Gus and Tartan are the funniest guys ever! (except when they decorate our kitchen with raw eggs!)
