According to the article, Dropping Knowledge states, “...There's a need to have something that allows people to share their knowledge with each other on a platform that's not controlled by an interest group or a government, with no one trying to drive an issue.

So exactly who and what is being shared? Participants include 112 of "some of the planets biggest thinkers" who will answer up to 100 questions submitted from around the globe. If you haven't been invited to participate as a thinker, say your invitation got lost in the mail, or unfortunately you are ranked measly 113 on the global thinking rankings, don't despair. You can weigh in on the questions via a toll free number which will then get posted to the Dropping Knowledge website. The toll-free number is 877-352-7566 (877-DK-ASK-NOW).

And if you’re into really big furniture, you might be interested to know that the 112 thinkers will be set about the “Table of Free Voices. The table was specially made for this conference from sustainable Polish trees, is pimped out to the max with video conference gadgets and has a circumference of 357 feet, which is 108 metres?!?
