QUOTE
Andy Murray hailed his straight-sets win over world number one Roger Federer as the greatest of his career.
The Briton became only the second man this year to beat Federer as he won 7-5 6-4 at the Cincinnati Masters.

Brad Gilbert signing as his coach was probably the best thing that could have happened to him. Not only will he continually get stronger and better under Gilbert's guidance, and fulfil that incredible potential he has, but he will also lose that petulant streak he has shown in recent times.

Barely 3 weeks into the new set-up and he has reached a final, a semi-final, beaten Henman twice in as many weeks, and now beaten the mighty Federer whilst actually managing to serve out a match for once. Hats off to the guy and may he achieve his dreams. Ranked 21 in the world now and making Henman look like the average player he really is.

Sorry mate he's British now that he's good, he'll be Scottish again once he goes off song cool.gif

A bit like Rusedski. When he went off the boil people started saying "Well, he ain't British, he's Canadian"... And with Henman it was "He was never all that good anyway"

I'm sick of this kiltieness envy!!!

Does he play in a kilt? Is this why he wins; due to the increased airflow around his oxters??

You try too hard. I know what you think oxters are, but they urnae. They are your armpits.

I like the word oxters so I used them in this case to describe another possible sweaty area; I believed that the reference to the kilt would render the word and position obvious to all but pedants.

Ha Ha. Poor try.
