Any others out there?

Well it's hardly a secret, they've been driving around Munich undisguised for some time now and the motoring press have had all the details in them. here's some piccys from the launch. 3-Series coupe

The tool you want is the hard top convertible version that is out in Spring. And then this time next year should be the 500bhp M Series convertible version. That will be the weapon of choice!

What do you guys think about the new style rear lights (as opposed to the 3 series sedan lights)? I like them much better. They don't look so...Japanese.
Eck Spatz
The coupé's rear lights are nice - especially compared to the saloon's or Kombi version's - which do look kinda Japanese. I'd sooner wait for the next new C-Class or A4 Avant... Actually I still prefer the previous 3-series.
Jimbo
Look like Saab 93 rear lights to me. Still, I do quite like it.

silly question, what happened to designing cars you could see out of clearly as much as possible?

if you add the dealer fit option "Black-line" light cluster to the 3-series limousine or Touring, it changes the look considerably and has a hint of the 5-series about it. The "Black-Line" replace the white reversing light and the red light next to it with a smoked white light creating two "strips" one smokey white (although you only notice the smokey colour close up, from a distance they look white), the other red. I think this improves the look considerably.

Yep, OG, it sure does look nicer and you can thank my boyfriend for that. I just deleted the rest because maybe that is too much info to post out here...
Owain Glyndwr
Black line is not developed by the "Baureihe" but by Aftesales development, so I doubt your boyfriend will have had much involvment with those particular lights. They are not available ex-factory, only as dealer-fit options.

I meant for the better looking lights on the new 3 coupe...I explained why but then I deleted it...too much info.
