Moving to Stuttgart with dog

Hi! We are planning on moving to Stuttgart later this year due to job relocation. Has anyone any experience on bringing a young dog? Are there many houses to rent that allow dogs too or does this complicate matters?

In any German city is complicates matters, as do young children, so it may cut your possibilities in half. But it should still be easy to find a place. Have the dog brought over a month later, and say you found it on the streets of Stuttgart!
