Putting the audio guide around my neck at the Alhambra fortress

Hope that takes the pressure off your brain and helps you feel better soon. Drinks lots and use damp cloths to sink the fever - but you know this already.

I love Fridays.
Me being on holiday but at home.
Usual holiday activities when in "Balconia" - tidying the loft, the celler etc...
Working off the flu I caught either in San Fran or on plane coming home.
Being generous I passed it onto the kids...

3 tourist boats have unloaded here with american tourist and it is a bit funny. I was at the coffee shop and I could hear them asking "when do you think the stores will open?" to each other. I kept quiet as usual but my friend told them it was holliday and that everything outside cafes are closed. Their tour guide did not bother to tell them it was a holliday and that most of Germany was off.

My boss called from the US at 3 pm and asked why no one was answering the phones at work.
Miserable lot - I'm having to work
You don't seem too unhappy about it (unless you chose the wrong emoticon).
If I had day off I might have had to work in garden & its freezing ccold out there!!!
Yes, judging by your location you definitely have a point!

Sorry, OG, I was busy in the kitchen and couldn't react.
I am so proud I could bust, everything turned out perfectly. This was the first Thanksgiving Dinner I ever cooked and I made everything from scratch. Look for pictures on the Good Meal thread.
I worked harder today than I ever would have at work
Well, I dont have to go to work most days - because its HERE - I have home office!!!
But in sense of not having to work - I have Friday officially off work - we fly midday to LHR to attend a concert, go shopping, see my half of my brother's family (ie no brother) & return Saturday. Sunday I have to run a sports-conference in Schleswig-Holstein. I fear I may even get re-elected to my post.
I'll need a rest after this weekend...

I should have been working but traded with a co-worker who then called this morning to ask if I could work after all as she is down with gastric flu. When I got there she said she would stick it out as long as possible, I should go back home.
