hello!

i was wondering if i could buy that 24" dell monitor widescreen Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP at any comissary like heidelberg oder even kaiserslautern base where there is a even bigger shop! (AAFES)

does anyone already have that monster or knows what to do or how import that thing if its not available here and what will be about the guaranty!?

need help pls smile.gif

thank you

ps: i could actually also buy that monitor from the german dell but that would be a 850EURO!!! damn. mad.gif
koorosh
24 is not a monster. I have a 28" wide at work and it is great but not a monster.
Grinner
I have a 32" monitor at home here...

You could always get a Flat pannel TV from Net on net as long as it has DV input you should be ok!
Sabum-nim
yeah thanks but what i meant is if there was some kind of maybe internetadress where you could see what they are selling in kaiserslautern commisary! smile.gif

sorry for that monster but for me it s already quite big enough biggrin.gif
and i don t need a tv but a monitor with a quick response to play some games smile.gif
UrbanAngel
You could ask them.
canuck
The 24" Dell doesn't come near the response time of the 19" monitors...obviously. If you're really into gaming I would suggest you buy a 19" monitor possibly a Viewsonic. The bigger Dell monitors also have banding issues.

And remember...Dell Don't sell in shops.. Go Online at www.dell.co.uk to order biggrin.gif
The current largest TFT you can get with a good quality Picture is the 32" Apple Cinema Display
but it also requires one hell of a graphics setup to run it correctly...

Commisarys sell food, the PX is where you get everything else, the website is AAFES.com and it will only show what you can buy on line and not specifically what each store has, you also need to have an ID card to log in to the site.

damn it!

i m very sorry but i forgot to look @ my thread !

@darkknight : well how much is that 32" apple ? 2000€ + ? biggrin.gif

@leky : yeah! sry didn t mean to change PX to commisary wink.gif

@canuck : i know that but q 19" is just to small smile.gif and that dell is already quite good!! (good response)

thx to all!

If 19" is to small, then do what most others do... Get a 20 or 21"
or if you want really big, without the 2k price, get 2 19/20/21" displays.
most newer PC's have 2 video outs, and is yours doesn't a PCI VGA card only cost around 50 Eur.
Sabum-nim
hehe but where are you going to look if your gaming and the centre is divided onto two monitor biggrin.gif such as the hitcross of counterstrike biggrin.gif ?
ian
Don't forget to check the resolution. Many places advertise just the diagonal size. But the quality is very important too.
Darkknight
To get around the screen split in the middle of the viewing area you can get a 3 monitor setup and
use the middle screen as the default screen. Your games (Correctly configured) can then be set
to span all 3 biggrin.gif
