Boots that influenced your way of thinking

I am interested in finding out which boots played a major role in your lives and why they did? How did they change your views on life, the universe and everything?

I will start by mentioning one boot I wore by a bootmaker called Doctor Marten. This has made me see my own way of thinking and the way that I thereupon act in a much clearer light.

Mind you, you should have seen the bird that was in them. Certainly influenced my life.

3rd one goes up to... infinity...

Ah... All that time wasted, learning to line dance many moons ago.

My gay sister gave me some used bottle green cowboy boots. I wore them Easter Sunday/Monday 1998 starting at dear defunct O'Reilly's (Celtic/Rangers derby) on Sunday afternoon and ending up at Kunstpark Ost about 5 am Monday morning. My feet hurt for two days after that so I never thought of wearing them again.
