Cost of living in Dresden

Just wondering what the cost of living in Dresden
e.g Beer, Petrol, accommodation, Telephone, Wine

Petrol and telephone are I'm sure no different to the rest of Germany. Although as you don't write where you are now I can't tell if you're already in Germany or not

He's still in the UK, apparently.

Beer - cheap, going out about 1,50-2,50
Petrol - about the same like the rest of Germany
accommodation - cheap, friend of mine pays 550,-- for 120sqm, fully equipped newly renovated in the best part of town
Telephone - same like anywhere
Wine - s.a. Beer

Just remember that pretty much everything in the East is still pretty cheap and especially (I can't stress that word enough!) much cheaper than Munich or most other western cities.
