Took my very jetlagged parents to Augustiner last night (near Marienplatz) and then for dessert at the Ratskeller courtyard inside the Rathaus. Impressive atmosphere for two Americans just off the plane. Candles and tablecloths and the grandeur of Munich as the backdrop. Proud of myself if I must say so. Thought it would be good for a late night coffee with a friend before the weather turns too cold.
