anyway, i wanna know cuz i am looking for somewhere that sells strawberry daiquiri mix stuff. last time i was int he states i brought back a huge bottle of TGI Friday's strawberry daquiri stuff...it was great... all i had to do was put it in the blender with ice and voila! so yea, i'm looking for something along those lines...i dont feel ike having to measure out everything by myself... alcohol isnt as much fun when theres work involved biggrin.gif

Hmm, would suggest trying V-Markt, kinda large warehouse place, but with non membership card needed. Address is Balanstr 50, 81541 München.

Got a great selection of weird and wonderful alcoholic beverages there.

ok thanx i'll give it a try... need to figure out how to get there first.. i think i know where it is, not sure tho.
Showem
Yeah, or Metro, also need card. Otherwise, for more money, you might something in the food sections of Karstadt, Kaufhof or Hertie.
pootle
Its a kinda 15 minute walk from ostbahnhof or rosenheimer platz. If you take the 56 Bus from Sendlingor Tor or ostbahnhof, and I guess you need the Regerplatz stop.

@pootle

strawberry daiquiri mix stuff

You mean that vile syrupy crap that they use in places like L-Lounge?

Just buy a bag of frozen strawberries and put them in a blender.
erdbeere
hmmm i dunno what vile syrupy crap ur talking bout. the stuff i got inthe states wasn't syrupy at all. it was...amazing. i mean i also added some strawberries when i had some at home but the stuff is anything but vile. so i was hoping they have sumfin similar here.

Strawberry daiquiri mix??

Puree strawberries, lime juice, sugar and rum and add ice..
A mix will be freeze dried stuff with added sugar and sweetener and flavour enhancers won't it?

Make it yourself, add kiwis, kumquats, whatever, have some fun, put far too much booze in it etcetc

In other words: vile syrupy crap.

Sorry for the type - no membership card needed at V-Markt.

I think I am going to leave the forum alone the rest of the day

pootle - the nearest stop to V-Markt is St-Martin-Strasse s-bahn or bus #45
erdbeere
hmm well the stuff i use isn't freeze dried... its not really a mix... its pure liquid... same consistancy as like juice. It's just got everything in it already.
Tormentor
Karstadt on Leopold Strasse, they have all the mixes there, it's very nice.
erdbeere

Mercado de Mexico has them as do many Hertie/Karstadt food halls.
They are easy to make yourself though.

Aldi is doing some mixes on special from 5th July - I have no idea if they are good but they are cheap enough to try if you like that sort of thing. It is a cocktail special promotion, I saw a flyer on the S-Bahn for it.
Aldi South website - click on July 5th Offers.
They will also be doing UK/US rectangular pillows with Dorma brand covers too.
