Who wants to see Matrix: Reloaded

The second installment of the Matrix comes out on Wednesday 21st May. I doubt I'll go for the first showing, but I definitely want to see it. Anyone else interested? Might be worth organising a meal+movie session like we did that other time...
AquaticMeringue
Oh and while I'm on the subject, X-Men 2 comes out on 30th April, and I'm planning to go see that as well. Probably a bit short notice for a Toytown outing, but still worth mentioning.
Noddy
Yeah, I'd love to see Matrix-2. Won't be as good as 1, but WTH. Let me know what date you want to go and I'll let you know if I can make that date (Mondays is bad for me wegen Deutschkurs, but don't let that stop you if that is the day that suits you best).

Not sure about X-Men. The first was enjoyable, certainly much better than I was afraid it would be (I expected it to be much more cheesy!), and the sfx were good as I recall. Provisionally "yes".

Let me know when you plan to go and I'll come along. Don't know if I'll come for a meal first though.

In their current schedule, Cinema have double features of X-Men and X-Men2 on the 3rd and 10th of May. I can't make the 10th, so how about the 3rd?
AquaticMeringue
Not sure if I can really be bothered to go for a double feature, particularly as I have the first X-Men movie on DVD. The double features seemed nice at first in that you get two movies for the price of one...except until I realised that they end so late (after 2:30am, at least in this case) that I need to take a taxi home afterwards, which costs about twice as much as the movie.

Besides, it won't accept any bookings for the 3rd, so I'm assuming it's booked out.

Fair points. Let me know when's a better time then. Perhaps we can have a DVD session and watch the first one beforehand.

It's not necessarily booked out. Sometime they just don't accept online bookings for certain showtimes when it's a film that they expect to be popular.

Great idea! Now why didn't I think of that?

But they allow bookings for the double feature on the 10th?
Malcolm Spudbury
Aye, but if it's a popular film, more people will want to book the earlier one.

However, this is just my theory. Maybe it is already booked out - the only way to find out for sure is to give them a call!
