20 year old Brit looking for friends

Hey All,

Have to say what a great site this is it has answered so many questions well done whoever started it. Anyways I am new in town literally arrived a few hours ago. I am working for BMW and living in wohnheim off Motorstrasse. I am looking for guys and girls around my age to maybe meet up with go out have a few drinks etc.

I'm pretty laid back and used to a hectic social life from university in the UK . Any Erasmus students I also speak a bit of french and spanish so drop me a line and well go and live it up. So basically anyone intersted in meeting a 20 year old male working for BMW whoes mainly interested in drinking/clubbing/cars/socialising and taking life as it comes then drop me a line and get in touch.

P.S if anyone could reccommend a good bank account or Internet provider and how to get the internet this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Matt9882,

There are quite a few social events planned at the moment; must be the summer party atmosphere. Tonight, there's a party on at Hofbrauekeller, a beergarden at Max-Weber-Platz.

Next week on Monday is the quiz night, at The Arc an international pub in Schwabing, so reachable by the UBahn from those BMW Wohnheims , but maybe Tuesday would be better as it's a general boozing night called 'Toytown Tuesday Drinks' where the venue changes every week. it hasn't been set for Tuesday yet, but just keep an eye on the thread.

Regarding your other questions, just check out the search function (top right-hand corner) for info on ISPs and banks.

some peeps say Stadtsparkasse is pants but ive had 2 accounts with them and they were always brilliant. can always find one when you need as well. One at Olympic park if thats the BMW place you are working at.

Hypovereinsbank aren't too shabby either. Fairly decent student account.

Citibank are good for the overdraft and the no-charges International banking.
