English-speaking baby groups in Schwabing

Hi there - this is my first posting.

I've just had a baby (9 weeks old now) and am keen to meet other mothers/fathers with new babies - speaking english... are there any groups around Schwabing - or actually anywhere in the inner city area?

Welcome!!!Give Munich Mommies a try. They get together in Schwabing once a week (I think). They also advertise on TT. Nice group, and they have some pretty cool social outings as well---there's one this weekend (great girls night outs)!!!

The Eltern Kind Zentrum on Schraudolphstr. 10 (I think) - every Friday at 10am - 11.30 am. They also have English speaking coffee/cake afternoons when you can just drop in for a chat - Tues. from 4.30pm.

A free bilingual English-German mums group is starting on June 11th! We are meeting fortnightly in Munich on a Wednesday at 11 a.m. and all are welcome to join. This week Mums Out 'n About are meeting in the city centre for ‘Morning tea by the Isar’ at 10am this Wednesday.

Hi Mamas,

This week Mums Out ‘n’ About are meeting in the city centre at the ‘Englischer Garten’. We can enjoy a coffee at the ‘Seehaus’ and then play with our bubs in the park. Bring a picnic rug, ball or frisbee and let’s have some fun with the kids.

Meeting point is “Münchner Freiheit (U3/U6) at 10am this Wednesday. We will wait for you at the top of the lift (directly in front of Karstadt). If you are coming by car you can park on ‘Feilitzschstrasse’, we will then walk together to the Englischer Garten, 10 min by foot.
