Changing name after divorce - effects in Germany

I'm changing my name now my divorce is through and doing the part in England is easy but what about in Germany? My solicitor is preparing a deed for me but says I need to know if it would be accpeted to change my name with various departments here. anyone any experience of this and what to do?

It's possible, but be prepaired for tons of paperwork, lots of waiting,Burocratic hassle, and maybe even some big costs...
