Our criteria have changed from the original posting:
My husband (Bavarian) and I (American) are looking for a gentle and caring, long-term nanny or babysitter to watch our 4-month old daughter: part time beginning in mid-October.
The babysitter would come to our house in Markt Schwaben and take care of the baby while we are at work. The hours would be either 8 am to 14:00 or 9 a.m. to 15:00, Monday through Friday. We have a nice spacious garden and are located within close walking distance from the S- Bahn station.
Experience with infants is preferable as is basic English.
If you are interested please email me at akunstwadl@aol.com.

Hi there!
German family is seeking for a native english speaking babysitter. The family has three little kids, one boy "G" 3 years old, two girls "E" and "T" two years old. All three kids attend an bilingual preschool and understand English. Both parents are doctors/ researchers. We live in Haidhausen, close to Max-Weber-Platz, easy to reach with public transportation.
We are searching for a long term babysitter and need help with the following:
1) Bringing the son to the Kindergarten (starts at 8:00 am, 15 minutes walk from home).
2) Picking the son or the girls up at 5:00 pm (girl“s daycare is five minutes from home by foot).
3) Afterwards playing with the kids together with the mother who will be back home until then, having picked up either the boy or the girls. Having dinner with them and helping to bring them to bed (8:00 pm).
4) If you are an au-pair, helping with some housework.
Are you a lovely and caring person with experience in babysitting, please send us a PM with details and contact information.

We are looking for an experienced native English speaking babysitter for weeknights and weekends.
We are a family living in central Munich (area of Prinzregentenplatz, easy reach of public transportation) with two boys 2,5 and 4 year old and a recently newborn. Right now it would be mostly playing with the boys. We do have a nanny during the day and are looking for an English speaking babysitter who comes around 5 pm. for a few hours to look for the boys especially, teach English in a playful way (they can speak it and go to the international school around here), get dinner ready for them etc. We would be looking for somebody to come in some evenings and some weekends like that. The schedule is a bit flexible, we would provide a good salary for somebody experienced. We are really only looking for native speakers or comparable level of English.
A long time relationship would be great if things work out. If this could be interesting, send me a post with your number and email and I will call you to talk about how many hours you're interested in working, salary etc. Looking very much forward hearing from you! Alex

Hello there
We are a British/American/German family and will be moving to Feldkirchen (S2) from Cambridge at the end of November. We are looking for a fulltime childminder or nanny/babysitter from December 2009. We have two happy, sociable little girls: Lara (nearly 2) and Lotte (3.5). Lotte will be going to a nearby Kindergarten, so the main responsibility would be looking after Lara, possibly with a few pick-ups for Lotte as well. Lara is a fun, active little girl who loves running about, being read to, going to the playground and going to playgroups. Lotte is equally fun and bubbly and likes reading, crafts and being active.
We will have a nice house in Feldkirchen with a reasonably large garden to have fun in. There are also playrounds etc. in the vicinity. Dad will work from home, but would not really interfere with the childcare and would try to keep out of the way during the day. The Kindergarten is walking distance, so the nanny would not absolutely need to be a driver/have access to a car. English or German speakers (or in fact speakers of other languages with reasonable English or German) are all welcome. We would also consider taking Lara to a childminder who lives nearby.
We look forward to hearing from you! Do mail us with your number and we can call you to talk things through.
Thanks!
