We've got a whole bag full of gloves of all sizes kindly donated by the ex-Wilson rep... no problem. It's a remarkably good way to spend an afternoon with a few beers and a nod towards exercise.

I'd really like to, but it's been 13 years since High School PE class and have BBQ the night before, so can't say what state I'll be in. Can you count me as a possible.

Damn, we are going to the Kaltenberger Ritter Tourney that day. Keep the 3rd of September open as we are planning a Labor Day picnic and softball in the park would be a great accompaniment.

Perhaps she was making a reference to the play on words... coming out as in admitting you're gay... though I'm not certain. Maybe she just thought it'd be really funny to watch a Canadian play softball.
canuck403
Jul 13 2006, 9:05 pm
Must have been the fact that a canadian is going to play softball...cause I cant see the other one being true...
Jenny L
Jul 13 2006, 9:07 pm

maybe she was just doing a favor for all the ladies on TT and getting definite clarification as to your sexual preference.

Edit: So to summarize: You aren't gay and you'll be at softball this weekend.

I think I actually have a glove somewhere too (sorry, not a lefty) and some softballs if you need any extras.
Edit: Mrs. thejarvii, will Mini-thejarvii also be in attendance? Haven't seen you since you were extremely preggers.

PS- also, I will never forgive you for telling me they sell peanut butter cups at

I've gotta pick up the equipment from Toast in Bogenhausen. I could be a few minutes late getting there...don't worry though. I willl be there around 1pm...give or take..
It's a perfect sunny day for some softball and drinks later at
Hirschau. Come one, come all. Beginners especially...

In other news, did anyone pick up a purple

Tape your broken toe to the one next to it. I wonder how honeebeaz's forearm looks!

Nah, you wanna tape it to the corresponding toe on the other foot. That's the way to do it.

sort of getting scared to actually join you guys then.

Jul 17 2006, 12:01 pm

nah, it was a friendly game. I'll bet honeebeaz arm looks bad though.

She really got hit hard with the ball. I'm getting a fabulous bruise on my leg-- if it'd just get a little darker it'd be picture worthy.

What does military training have to do with broken piggies!?!? It's not really broken anyway. Just slightly battered after having someone slide into it...anyone know how to remove blood from fluffy white socks??

Sooooo sorry for your toe bern!

It was a heat of the moment thing, you know, it's all about reaching 1st base!..
@ wahoo & Jenny L: no worries, thanks for asking. My arm is just fine, not a very big mark and not even that painful. I am following the "if you don't touch it, you won't even know it is there" philosophy. Looking forward to seeing all the colours of the rainbow in it though, should be interesting. Jenny L and I should definitely meet up in a couple of days to compare the evolution stages. Bern, if you want, you're in with your toe.
Glad to know I wasn't the only one in bits when I got up this morning! I've discovered a bunch of never felt before/very sore muscles.
I'm definitely up for making this a regular event too. Great craic that was!

@ bern: ask wahoo, she had to wear fluffy white socks on a regular basis for a while.
