Thanks rd. On a side note- just wanted to apologize to everyone for my screaming, ill-tempered child. She was really tired and her stupid mother drug her out to a softball game instead of letting her stay home and have a nap. When she's well rested she's a lot of fun to be around. Anyway, it was my fault and I'm sorry about that.

spit (seriously) works on a new blood stain, and hydrogen peroxide on older. only wash in cold water and don't put them in the dryer until the stain is gone (heat sets it).

what can i say. I was born without a sense of balance or coordination and have had many an injury.

oh, and for bruises, try and keep the limb elevated as much as possible for a day or so. Then apply a warm compress for about 15 minutes a few times a day.

Wow, you do know quite a bit about injuries. I've also heard that about using cold water for blood stains- not hot water as the stain will set.

Well if I got the rules right, in that particular sport, you actually HAVE to get to the 1st one to reach the other ones, do you know what I mean? I know, I find it weird too.

It's a weird little interactive society. I had just about gotten to 3rd base but had to go back to 2nd (and quickly I might add) just because someone else couldn't make it to 1st.

Thank goodness you weren't about to score. That would have been far more frustrating I wager.

Just moved here from Philadelphia PA, US for work, and a friend who was previously here recommended the site. I am EXTREMELY interested in playing some softball. Currently living in Isarvorstadt and would really like to get to know some of the english speaking crowd around here. I NEVER thought I would find softball this easily.
